Tres Keros

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It was absolutely delicious and the owner was an amazing host. We spent about 50 soles a plate, and even though those are definitely touristy prices, the food was worth it!

This is the best restaurant not only in Urubamba, but in the entire region. Worth the trip. The beef in the Lomo Saltado is the best beef I’ve had anywhere, truly.

A must visit if you are staying in Urubamba or dining in the area. The dining area is wonderful as it's perfectly lit with beautiful decor. Prices are around 30 (sols) for appetizers & pizzas (pizzas were not available for dinner however), and 40-55 for entrees but well worth it as I would pay twice as much for the same quality meal in the US. I recommend the trout - it was extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. For drinks, I recommend the passion fruit juice.

Well done, excellent cuisine! In 15 days in Peru, this was certainly a highlight along with Maido & La Sirena de Juan!

They did an amazing job with my crazy dietary restrictions. I needed no cilantro and very little garlic and the chef went above and beyond. Everything was amazing. Fanciest meal I've ever had and they are very affordable. Amazing! Will eat here again!

And the lamb was good but the others were so rare and perfect they outdid the lamb by far.

Superbly delicious food at very reasonable price and great service . My girlfriend and I went at least 8 times!The owner and servers were busy trying to make everyone feel welcomed and served with the most precious and delicious ingredients from the area. Recommended by our guide Mario, we enjoyed a very nice lunch, trout was wonderful with a great sauce along with fresh local veggies. Hawaiian pizza was very good. Fresh lemonade was a bonus. Right on the main road, all seating upstairs, tables inside, lounge chairs outside.

Such a cozy atmosphere! The restaurant is upstairs once you enter. Both of our servers were extremely attentive and friendly. The Lomo Saltado was absolutely delicious- quite possibly one of the best cooked tenderloin dishes I’ve ever had. We were also served complimentary local bread and hummus- yum!

Good made food and glad they are open again after lockdown. Love the menu options. And nice service. Would top recommend them even if we are kind of competitors. Well 25 min apart, and i just gotta give them 5. Well made it surely was and higher i have to value it than the average top in area. Had cordero, great and a sauce gravy which reminds me of my homeland when they do it best. Been there before lockdown and was also allways good. Have to try new curry dish option next time. This is probably the most upscale restaurant you’ll find in the area, perfect for a special occasion. The prices are so much higher than other restaurants, even the more upscale ones, but the food quality is truly fantastic.

We had been staying just outside of Urubamba for about a month and mostly eating at really small local places or cooking our own food, but my husband and I decided to have a few nice meals out before leaving Peru.

When we first walked in and we were greeted in English by the owner, and he immediately assured us that the water and ice and salad could be trusted, I was nervous that it was much too touristy and not a place I’d enjoy. While he did try to make us comfortable and spoke to us in English instead of Spanish, and updated us in some news from United States,
he was also just really friendly and wonderful. Yes, the prices were high and the restaurant is definitely catering to tourists, but the avocado and asparagus salad we started with was the best vegetable dish I’ve had in ages, and the lamb shank and trout were just delicious. We also had the pisco sours, which were perfectly made. We learned that the woman doing the cooking had been there for 13 years and is truly phenomenal. She took our orders, did the cooking, and processed our payment .

I would definitely return here for a special occasion!

I felt welcome and the food was delish. Went with my son and it was a very lovely, special lunch date, I had the lomo de atún and can't stop thinking about it. My son had the limo saltado, also really good!

Great meal! Great service. Had a roast lamb shank with caramelized onion and cauliflower purée that was exquisite! Meal was half the price and better than the dinner at the 5 star resort we were staying in! All for a 2 Sol Tuk-Tuk ride there.

One of the best meals we had in Urubamba! Don't be fooled by the unpretentious menu, the flavors are amazing and everything is cooked to perfection. I wish we had gone back there a second time instead of wasting a dinner at the super pretentious mediocre food of Hawa. Everything we ordered here was delicious from the chef's salad, chicken curry, and 2 desserts. We could do this whole meal all over again but want to try other things on the menu. Quiet intimate atmosphere, great service and food, come here if you want a delicious meal with fresh quality ingredients. Maybe not the most authentic peruvian but certainly made with local products. You can get local food at the markets or streets but you certainly won't get sick here. Highly recommend to anyone and to all the people thinking Hawa restaurant is anything special.

Obviously if you order a pizza and a Coke zero like the previous writer don't expect the Naples quality.
Let the chef suggest what to order.
Get wine.. no coke.. and enjoy this beautiful hidden spot .

Great food - good options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike.

My four friends and I had an excellent experiece at Tres Keros. Our waiter, Roger, was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He answered all our questions regarding the menu. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Surprising gem found in this small town. Every dish was Michelin star quality. Best meal I've had in South America by a long shot.

Great ambiance, the owner/chef is super friendly and a great cook. Everything we ordered was amazing. We had lomo saltado and lomo cafe. Highly recommend!
