Kaia is a great place to find things you can't find elsewhere in town. They are the only vendor of agar I have found. Here you can get citric acid, magnesium sulfate (anhydrous), and other things Andean chemists need.

Loved this cool shop! So many vegan and gluten free options, as well as great local gifts. I went yesterday and picked up some delicious Ginger Mead (wine), soap and chocolate for a very reasonable price. The lady (assuming shop owner) spoke English very well and was very sweet. Worth the walk during my visit to Urubamba.

Really great gifts! I bought a beautiful pipe made of palo santo that has a condor head carved from onyx! Beautiful stuff!
