We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit Palcoyo earlier than the crowds coming from Cusco. Beautiful family owned hotel with outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Our hostess Mariela and Michelle were so kind and warm. They gave us a lot of information about the surrounding area that made us felt more secure and comfortable in our journey. We learned so much. It was really a great pleasure to talk with them. The facilities are very nice. It's a very old hacienda with a lot of history. The room was very comfortable and clean. The shower pressure and temperature were perfect. Delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and bread. Delicious coffee. Very secure parking place. We want to come back in a couple of years. It is the perfect place to explore the surroundings. Thank you so much for a wonderful staying.

Very nice hosts and they make you feel at home straight away. We arrived at 5:30PM so we could choose 3 dinner options and we chose spaghetti pesto which was delicious.

They also had beers from a local brewery (Yucay brewery). Which for me is a big plus.

Any questions you might have about rainbow mountain they can answer. If you want to bave breakfast really early it's no problem either.

I did not manage to stay at the hotel however, i needed a reliable taxi as i was doing a solo trip to Rainbow mountain and i called Casona to help me with transportation and they swiftly helped me. As soon as i arrived, Jose from the hotel picked me up at the bus stop and took me the hotel to wait for the taxi. When i arrived back, Jose kindly escorted me to the bus stop as well as showed me around Checacupe and educated me on some history ... He was such a gentlemen and highly recommended for anything should you make your way down to Checacupe :)

Super Hostel! A lovely welcoming and a nice staying. Can totally recomend if you want to see the Rainbow Mountains which are near...

Hermosa casona, restaurada con un toque muy particular...me encantó...si quieres ir a la montaña de colores es el lugar ideal para hacer noche y no te puedes arrepentir es lindo el lugar y muy acogedor..la habitación amplia, limpia, hermosamente decorada...me encantó su frazada...el patio, los corredores, el comedor, el bar, todo es bello
Y lo mejor es la atención... Gisella una de las dueñas muy atenta te guía te ayuda con la ruta una divina

Gracias mil gracias uno de los lugares se quedó en mi memoria... lo disfruté mucho... me encato y si algún día vuelvo será mi lugar a llegar...

Un posto meraviglioso, dove si mangia benissimo e si ascolta buona musica. Il luogo ideale per partire alla scoperta di Palcoyo e Vinicunca in una maniera più autentica e meno turistica. Invece di partire con un tour organizzato alle 3 del mattino da Cusco, puoi fermarti a dormire a Checacupe un paio di notti e goderti la tranquillità del luogo. Tutto perfetto!

Cette auberge familiale est un endroit idéale pour partir explorer la montagne de Palcoyo et le pont inca.
Mariella et Gisell et leurs familles sont très gentils.
Nous y avons dîné et la cuisine est très bonne.

Sehr netter und bemühter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft wirkt von außen unscheinbar, ist von innen aber sehr schön und gemütlich. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr alt (noch von der Oma des Gastgebers), sind aber sauber und sorgen für ein schönes Ambiente. Ein überdachter Parkplatz in der Garage steht zur Verfügung. Der Gastgeber hat die Mahlzeiten für uns jedes Mal frisch zubereitet! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Cudowne miejsce z duszą ! Niesamowita właścicielka, która zawsze chętnie udzieli informacji na temat okolicznych atrakcji a tych nie brakuje. Ponadto samo miejsce ma bogatą historię, której warto wysłuchać. Przepyszne posiłki na życzenie z produktow z eco farmy !

Inmejorable, los dueños son la amabilidad en persona, tuvimos un problema con el coche y nos ajudaron y acompañaron al taller. El hotel esta genial, habitaciones calientes y agua con buena presion y calentita. La comida muy rica tambien, todo genial

Perdu au milieu de nul part et ça fait son charme. Comme l’hôte le dit souvent « my English is bad » mais je dirait que son hospitalité is very very good. Je recommande a 100% tellement c’était authentique et chaleureux.
Une famille magnifique aux petits soins pour leurs invités et des repas plus que succulents. Merci

La casona Aedo tiene la magia de transportarte en el tiempo y Mariela, la anfitriona, de hacerte sentir como en casa.
Es un excelente punto de partida para visitar hermosos e inolvidables lugares de este otro lado del bello e enigmático Cuzco, como la majestuosa montaña de colores de Palcoyo, el increíble Valle Rojo, la ciudadela de Machupitumarka, el circuito de las 4 lagunas, los puentes incas de paja y los de calicanto y de la imponente Wajrapukara.
Los Aventureros Bienaventurados viajamos por las rutas del Perú desde hace 20 años y sin duda esta casona es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para llegar.❤

Mari recebeu a gente de braços abertos. A acomodação é perfeita pra quem vai subir a Vinicunca ou está a caminho de Puno/cusco.

Muchas gracias Mari por tu hospitalidad!! Nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Mari nos preparó el almuerzo y la cena (delicioso todo!) y también nos aconsejó sobre qué hacer y conocer en la zona. Realmente vale la pena ir a la Casona.
