El Mono Sabio Calca

I spent some time in this hostel.
The beds are comfortable, the room I stayed in gets enough daylight so it was bright. Shower and toilet are clean. There is enough space in the garden to meditate on.
The kitchen was open to use 24/7, all the kitchen equipment I needed was available. The kitchen is large and useful.
There is also a bar in the hostel, I ate some food there, were delicious.

The city of Calca is a quiet, less touristy place where locals live. Roads open to nature all over the city. It is possible to go to forest and mountain areas by walking 10 minutes from the hostel.

I am so glad my friend suggested that I come and stay here in El Mono Sabio. And I am so very glad I took her suggestion and came to stay in this great hostel with great owners. Mert and Ale(jandra) are a great couple running the hostel. The room I stay in is good and the bed is definitely the most comfortable bed I have slept while in Peru. The kitchen we cook is great and the garden we relax is looking at beautiful mountain views on three sides and has apple and peach trees. Even the other guests are cool. This is definitely the place to stay when you come to Calca. I hope to come back and stay more when I am back in the Sacred Valley.

I stayed in this place for 2 weeks and I would definitely come back. Very good location, nice garden and very spacious rooms. Its kept very clean and its always so peaceful and tranquil. Surrounded by the mountains and close to the river. The kitchen is fully equipped, hot shower and good wifi. Very helpful and friendly couple! The playful dogs spice up the place :) Also free laundry...

It was one of the best stay in Peru so far. They were very hospitable and the hostel was super clean. They helped us for our every needs immediately. And the location is just perfect. I would recommend everyone. Wll definitely come back!

Very clean, neat and friendly hostal in Calca. It is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by mountain views. It has a nice garden for chillout. Rooms are comfortable and clean, shared bathroom is the cleanest i've ever seen in peru. Shared kitchen is also well equipped. Liked the place a lot, you feel yourself in home.

Sweet laid back space with all travellers' amenities and a nice garden. Close enough to the town centre but far enough to be very peaceful and walking distance to very nice nature spots. Also very good value for money. Has the best internet in town, a very big and equipped kitchen, warm rooms, laundry and other services.

We would like to thank this warm and sincere business. We always come when we are in Peru. we feel at home. A clean and pet friendly place. It is very close to the city and at the same time, you can rest your head in the quiet trees. We liked it very much.

Che posto magnifico. Mert e Alehandra sono persone fantastiche sempre pronte ad aiutarti. La struttura è pulita. Un grande spazio verde dove potersi rilassare dopo una passeggiata sul bordo del fiume o sulla montagna pitusiray.
La zona è tranquilla sia di giorno che di notte, lontana da cani che abbaiano o altri rumori fastidiosi. Durante la notte si puo' sentire il fiume scorrere, che meraviglia!

Un couple sympas, une ambiance décontracter, au petit soin, dans un village calme, un endroit excellent pour faire une pause durant votre périple en Amérique latine… de Calca possibilité de faire pas mal d’excursion dans la vallée sacré…
