Hotel El Duke

Loved loved loved this place!
The view is marvelous and the room is super comfortable! At night, it's quiet, so we had a great night sleep.
We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, and it was all super tasty and rich.
The host is helpful, kind, and friendly to talk to.
The place is within walking distance of Leymebamba museum as well as the center of town. You can also take a quick mototaxi ride.
And to top it all of, there's a pool!
All of the above you get for a very good price.
Best place we stayed so far in North Peru.

A wonderful and quietnplace in Lemyebamba.
The rooms are simple, but very clean and the beds are comfortable.
The view from the hotel is breathtaking and on top of it there is a pool.
The owners are friendly, helpful and good cooks. Definitely recommend this place!

Please note that there's no ATM in town and you it's not possible to pay by card in the restaurants. So bring enough cash

This hotel is located in a beautiful location surrounded by a very friendly community. I was totally surprised by the amazing views of the mountainside. There is an amazing little restaurant right down the road and plenty of hiking paths by the river. Considering this hotel isn't listed anywhere in travel sites, it's an absolute hidden gem. Highly recommend!!!

The owners are fantastic hosts, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The pool is very clean. The only bad is that there was no wifi and the showers don’t get hot. It is still the best place to stay in town.

I didnt expect to find luxury in a tiny town but thats what i think of EL Duke. In fact i would call it a mini resort. My room was comfortable with an amazing view. They have a pool, gym and excellent food. I enjoyed a dinner and breakfast. They can provide just about anything you need. The hotel is not on the road and has no road access so you need to find the small path between 2 buildings. They can also arrange parking (im on a motorcycle). This is the BEST PLACE TO STAY IN THE AREA!!

El Duke is the best spot to stay for your travels through Leimebamba. The rooms are very comfortable and safe, and the view is amazing. Etel and Deyner are amazing hosts and can help plan any travel needs as they know the area very well. On top of all this, Etel is an amazing chef and will whip up all sorts of delicious meals if you are so inclined. Definitely stop here if you are in Leimebamba!

Great place to stay! We were able to try several foods from the region that were not included in the menu and got a vegeterian tallarin saltado (with champiñones) when we mentioned we would love something with less meat. Also very clean rooms with a great view!

I believe this is actually a hospedaje. The family of always around and you quickly become treated like a relative. We speak very little Spanish and the host was able to help us arrange a ride on some tours any give us many recommendations. Breakfast on the terrace is delicious and the room is clean and has the best view. If you’re headed out towards Leymebamba this is one hotel/ area you do not want to miss. The town itself is quaint and the people are super nice.

Quel bel endroit et quel accueil ! La chambre est superbe et la terrasse du deuxième étage offre une vue splendide. Un petit-déjeuner génial vous attend !

Nos quedamos una noche, los anfitriones super amables y atentos, el desayuno bien potente, la vista magnifica a la naturaleza, la cama super cómoda, tiene una piscina que dan ganas de meterse. (Por tiempo no lo hicimos)
Solo el acceso un poco confuso pero nos ayudaron con ello.

El lugar es un lindo y acogedor, tiene una hermosa vista al pueblo. La dueña es muy amable, servicial y atenta en todo momento.

Buena atención, personalizado, habitaciones confortables, ubicación cerca al terminal....

És un mini hotel familiar a on fan tot el possible per a que estiguis a gust. Molt acollidor, amb piscina, wifi i unes bones vistes.
La pega és l'accés, un estret camí de terra sense llum a la nit. Amb maletes és complicat per les escales, però val la pena.
