By far, the best hotel that we’ve stayed at throughout Peru!
Hotel sits atop Cusco (so there is a little bit of a hike to main plaza area) but come night time, the peaceful quiet and beautiful overviews of the city were perfect. Staff extremely attentive, English speaking and offered recommendations for our stay. Laundry service available, happy hour drinks, breakfast every morning. A great price, great atmosphere and great staff made our time in Cusco memorable.

We had a great time at this hotel! The staff was so friendly, the massages were amazing, and the eggs in the morning were delicious. It is a tiny bit outside the main area so a bit of a walk up from town. We had an issue with noise in another town where we stayed in the square so appreciated the location. It was still very close to everything and by a little street that had authentic/local artisan items for shopping. Make sure you do not miss the Ceviche spot next door!

This review is for the Terrance and Bar. It’s the best spot in Cusco to watch sunset and the city valley. The fresa cocktail was amazing and the bartender very welcoming. It went on a Sunday evening before sunset and I had the terrace to myself.

The view, location and staff were amazing. It is 10 minutes from the main square and up a hill but honestly it's no big deal. The neighborhood is great so take your time and explore. Great value. Jose and team went above and beyond.

Amazing hotel to stay at. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make sure you are looked after. The rooms are great, modern, and clean. The views from the balconies and the courtyard garden are incredible and worth the walk up to the hotel.
We stayed here before we did the four day Inca Trail and they looked after our big bags and moved them into our room when we returned after the hike.
We then went to Puerto Maldonado and when we came back to Cusco we had a few hours to spare before travelling onto Puno. The staff at the hotel were so accommodating and arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us back to hotel where we were able to relax and chill in the courtyard garden whilst we waited for our night bus to Puno.
They arranged all of our taxis which was really helpful as well. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough - next time we come to Cusco we will definitely be staying here again!

I had a good time here. The room was very clean, the garden was just beautiful, all the staff I had interaction with were extremely friendly, helpful and professional (Emily, Aaron, and more who I didn't get to learn names of).
Reading other reviews, I didn't notice any noise issues, but it's true that the shower water was not as hot as I'd like. Overall, I'd still recommend this place.
Also note that they no longer have a restaurant in the hotel beyond serving breakfast.

We did not stay here but came for drinks in the garden on 2 occasions as we were staying close by. The views are amazing and the garden is very relaxing. All the staff were great and Aharon, our waiter, served us both times. A really friendly and helpful person. Cocktails at happy hours are great. Highly recommend

The service is outstanding!! Very friendly staff. It has a nice view to the city. It was our first time in Cuzco with some friends from United states and we were amazed with the place and the location

The hotel staff is amazing, welcoming and kind. They provide a wonderful breakfast. We recommend the Incan Stone Massage at the spa. The views are absolutely stunning, and they moved us from one room to another to have an amazing view. Most importantly, they went above and beyond to help me find a photographer for my engagement. The terraces are an awesome place to relax and unwind. They gladly ordered us taxis and arranged transportation when heading to the airport. The beds were comfortable, and each evening the staff came by with bed warmers so the sheets were nice and toasty! We were there in November, so the nights were cool. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in the unique neighborhood of San Blas within Cusco! The ladies working at the front desk were all so friendly and accommodating with our many requests! They helped us with laundry, arranging some great taxi drivers (including Alfredo!), holding onto our luggage while trekking to Machu Picchu, and setting up testing for flying back to the states. They were all so great and really went above and beyond! Marco even took time out to give us a thorough run down of the Salkantay Trek, which we hiked to Machu Picchu. Hotel Encantada offered a great breakfast each morning, and as a bonus even has great views over looking the city of Cusco! Booking a room here is a no brainer!

Loved our stay here! Everyone on staff provided great personal service. Clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the Plaza so it's in a very quiet part of town. We stayed here before and after our Inca Trail trek, and they had all our luggage in our respective rooms when we returned. Very impressive! Be sure to get one of the two balcony rooms if available as the views from the hotel are amazing! The only negative things are 1) the walls and doors are very thin and sounds travel thru the small hotel very easily, and 2) the food served at the downstairs restaurant is average for the price. But I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again because of these things.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. She was thrilled to be here, which always enhances the experience. I have to chuckle at the reviewer who mentioned the lack of taxis. The hotel is in an historic, charming neighborhood with very narrow streets. That's a feature, not a bug. If you can't walk a 100 yards on old cobblestone streets to get a taxi, maybe you shouldn't be traveling in Latin America. Or there's a Marriott that's 10 minutes away.

The location is very quiet and safe, but a 10 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas.

Very friendly and picturesque. Great area of San Blas, Cusco. Taxis and tour guides are able to drop you off and pick you up right out front. Walking distance to all museums, restaurants and shopping squares. Breakfast was great and their dinner menu was perfect. They have a couple of extra touches that they provide above and beyond.

We loved our stay at Encantada, Cusco. Warm and cozy place, very accommodating and friendly. Big thank you to Ricardo for helping us with many requests and giving directions for best places to eat and to visit.
I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Cusco but don’t like the whole crowded and noisy scene around Plaza De Armaz which is 5 min walk from the hills where Encantada is conveniently located.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views and nice staff. Place is in a very safe neighborhood, it is very high, so might be hard to get there by taxi, but they will get you there. Staff are super helpful and breakfast is very good. The place is a little cold, but they have heaters and blankets, so it is not a big deal.

This cute boutique hotel is one of my favorite stays anywhere in my life. The staff is excellent and are able to assist with anything you need. Aharon was kind enough to book us a delicious dinner at A Mi Madera, to get us coca tea upon arriving for altitude sickness, and to book amazing couples massages. The staff and service is above and beyond here, and one of the main reasons to stay here on your Cusco journey. On top of that (literally!) the location is perfect, situated above the aqueduct in San Blas with 270 degree views of all of Cusco. The rooms are large and beds are comfy, and the breakfast is plentiful. I will make sure we stay here again in the future and I highly recommend this hotel to any friends, family, and strangers. Thank you again Aharon and staff!!

Just....Awesome! This hotel is high in the hills of Cuzco, and they arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. The neighborhood of San Blas is ancient and wonderful, and the views from the entrance, our room and rooftop terrace show the full expanse of the surrounding hills and central Cuzco, a sight which I’ve never seen the like in the USA or Europe. The hotel clerk named Arnold was charming and beyond helpful, going way out of his way to help us with just about everything. The hotel has a chef/restaurant and many services, including laundry service for a few dollars, which was ready in a few hours. We didn’t try any of the spa services, but I’m sure they were as spectacular as everything else. TheThis hotel is high in the hills of Cuzco, and they arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Stayed here acclimating for 4 days in June 2012 prior to a 4-day Machu Picchu trek. The third floor room was small but adequate, very clean, plenty of hot water and we had a wonderful view of Cusco from our balcony. The fourth floor open deck also provided great views of the city. The staff was mostly bi-lingual (english/spanish) very courteous and helpful. Their small restaurent was very good. The hotel is located off the beaten path and requires a short walk (or taxi) to the central square (Plaza de Armes) with all it's shops and tourist attractions. Highly recommended.
