Layover Panama

Rafael was an amazing tour guide. He went above and beyond. He picked us up in the morning beside our apartment when he was actually scheduled to pick us up at a neighbouring hotel. He was knowledgeable and speaks English excellently. He had the greatest humor. He was accommodating and was so pleasant. A 10 out of 10 experience. We highly recommend his tours. Thanks again for such a fabulous day :)

We had a tour with R&E Transfer Panama to the Monkey Islands together with a tour guide, led by Edwing. Edwing was very nice, professional and knowledgable. He spoke fluent English, he was very open to chat and to answer any questions regarding the areas we visited, but also about Panama in general. It was obvious that he is very passionate about what he does. He picked us up directly from the hotel, and he arrived exactly on time! We went to Gamboa area, where we took a boat and rode through the canal to the Gatun Lake. In the meantime, we saw a few huge cargo boats and trains passing by. The areas around the canal and the lake were very lush and beautiful. We saw a group of Capuchin monkeys. They jumped on the boat, looking for food and ran around us. The feeling was exhilirating. Of course, follow the guides instructions when interracting with the monkeys. We also saw Canopy monkeys up close, turtles, toucan birds and other wild life from the area. Before we returned, we visited Gamboa village as well. The experience was very pleasant overall and we highly recommend this tour.

I recently traveled to / from Panama City and used R&E Transfer for driving me around town. For my visit over 6 days, there were 4 transits + one full day touring the City.
