Fairly easy to get around. Everything is written on the wall for the buses. Ppm are generally very nice even if we spoke not much Spanish

I can tell you the cheapest and fastest way to go around panama is through the subways. They run on time and you don't have a long wait. Every 4 mins a train passes.

The most amazing public and bus transport such well organized is in Panama. Each bus has driver and helper. We visited whole Panama country by bus and I must say I have never seen like that. It is much better than even in Western Europe, not to mention my Poland.

Transit hub for Panama Metro buses combined with a shopping center, grocery stores, Banks, etc. Real convenient for travelers coming from work and need to grab something from the store before going home.

Buses available to many areas in Panama city as well as outside Panama City. It is a big terminal. There is a food court stores and barbers. Recommend buying a metro pass $2.00 at local machine, load with at least $5.00. Pays access to bathroom (25 cents), and gate out to buses (25 cents) to allow access to buses. Can use for metro train and buses. Saves on taxi charges. If you are having a long wait visit the 700 store Mall next store. Plenty of taxis. (At least $10. 00 to Bella Vista Hotels). Natives are very helpful and courteous.

I have visited personally LA Gran Terminal de Transporte de Panama and it is very well organized. You can travel from there to different parts of Panama, by bus, airplane, or if you just need to take a taxi to the city, that is the right place. There is also an information desk that people could use if you have a question.

Well organized. Easy to find your destinations. You would be wise to come in knowing some spanish, but they will help you and tell you which bus is the one you need.

We have been to this place several times now. Our first time was in 2015. It was very intimidating indeed. It is huge. But if you have the time go and check it out before hand a day or two before you need to catch your bus. The bus system in Panama is excellent and you do not have to speak Spanish, we don't. Inside the main bus terminal there's booths and about each one is the name of the destination the bus is going. We travel to the Las Tablas area, so find the booth that says Las Tablas or your destination. And don't be intimidated, it's very easy and the staff will help you if you're in need.
