Sabor a Cumbia

This is the top restaurant in town serving traditional Panamanian Creole food. I consider it as such due to its food quality, presentable decor, good service and air conditioning. It is prepared with quality ingredients and the kitchen is headed by a chef. Most of the food I have tried here tends to have a slight advantage in taste when compared to other places. Worthy of mentioning are the sopa de costilla ahumada (smoked rib soup), bistec picado (chopped steak with rice), and fried items such as tortillas (fried mash corn) and ohaldres (fried dough).

If you are a tourist and want to drink something special, get a cup of nance (hogberry) fruit drink. It has a smell and taste that may be odd at first but it is a fruit nonetheless so you will understand and appreciate it.

Usually, places that sell traditional creole food are called fondas due to their simplicity and cafeteria counters. This place is technically a restaurant, as there is table service with waitresses. The prices are going to be higher compared to a fonda but it is still affordable for most people.

Excellent service, the food is authentic Panamanian cuisine, mostly from Central Provinces, the ambiance is very enjoyable for a family gathering. The only downside is that they only open till 2 p.m. on Sundays.

It is a very nice place, it offers national cuisine, it has a very high quality,low fat, natural ingredient, it offers natural drinks such as pineapple of chorrera, orange and others, many people consider this place expensive but itis worth evry cent

Toda nuestra familia y yo estuvimos tan complacidos de ir a este agradable lugar. Queria que el dia de las madres fuera especial y lo lograron

Demasiada deliciosa la comida. La atención de todo el personal fue excelente y muy servicial. Algo que me encantó fueron las diferentes presentaciones de sus platos. Aunque llegamos pasado el mediodía (2:30pm) nos atendieron rapidísimo. Un lugar con bastante espacio, muy limpio. Me impresionó la limpieza y nitidez de cuarto de baño

Fantástico lugar para desayunar y/o comer, bien limpio, bonita decoración, trato excepcional por parte de todo el personal muy atento y comida sabrosisima, menús muy elaborados con ingredientes de primera.
Gracias de corazón por el trato inmejorable que tuvimos durante nuestra visita a Panamá.
Siempre les recordaremos desde España y no dudaremos en visitarles nuevamente a nuestro regreso.
