Sixt Rent A Car - Panama City Banking Area (Downtown)

Great experience and cheap rates. Car was too basic in my opinion. Had to lock and unlock with an actual key, had to adjust wing mirrors with a manual stick, no Bluetooth that we could tell. These should be standard in 2023. Besides that, all was great.

I had a good experience renting from Sixt. The staff were all very helpful and everything was great. We were upgraded to a larger sedan which was also nice. Be aware that if you don't take the insurance they take a $5000 deposit on your credit card - this is standard in Panama I believe and since we returned the car without any damage there were no issues with this. 3rd party insurance is also mandatory in Panama, but the collision insurance is NOT, and your credit card probably covers this, so be sure to check despite what the Sixt staff may say (they want you to buy all the insurance, of course). I will rent from this location again.

I understand renting a car is kind of annoying and you can deal with headaches. Speaking only from my personal experience, this agency was great. My girlfriend left her passport in the office when we got the car but they couriered it to us in Portobello (not close!) so I would say that was exceptional customer service. Also for someone who doesn’t speak Spanish, their website and Customer Service is an English and not broken English!

I rented a car from them for a very good price compared to Hertz who kept changing their insurance prices. I canceled my reservation with Hertz, went across the street to Sixt who gave me a straight out answer and a unique price, which was 300$ cheaper than Hertz for the same size car!!! The agent was nice and very helpful. Thank you to the agent and manager at Sixt on calle 52 , because of you I got to see lots of Panama . Josée from Canada

Best car rental in Panama City, Panama. Forget the airport ripoffs take uber to this location and return to airport. Has always been the best deal available.

Good service for car rentig in Panama. When we brought back the car with a damage on the wheel case, the service did not even mention it. Uncomplicated - helpful staff.

Perfekter Service. We hatten ein Auto im Juli 2022 zur Zeiten der Demonstrationen gebucht. Sixt organisierte eine kostenfreie Abgabe in David da der Weg von San Felix nach Panama City blockiert war. Niemand wollt uns eine extra Versicherung verkaufen. Danke noch mal für den perfekten Service 5 Sterne
