Grand Deli Gourmet | Coronado

Best place in Coronado for ice cream. Good sandwiches. The empenadas and pastries are nice. The have cake that you usually don't find in Panama as well. The Kotowa products, like coffee are good as well. I go here fairly often, so it must be good.

This review is about the supermarket, which is definitely an upscale supermarket. It is NOT more expensive than other supermarkets in the area for the same products, it is just that this one does not carry cheaper products. Everything is either high-quality, from a famous brand, or both. The store-made bread they sell is fantastic, very "European" with a crunchy crust and a soft interior. Highly recommended. They also have a good selection of more niche products and it is full of temptations, but they all come at a price.

This place has most of the unique items us "Gringos" can't find. You will pay for it but the taste of home is worth it. The empanadas here are amazing! They bake them so they are healthier as well. I wasn't going to share that part because I want to selfishly save them for me but I don't eat them all every day so I will be nice. Lol

Love this store. It reminds me of a Woolworths in South Africa. Clean, classy and fully stocked. A little but more pricey than your typical Super 99.

Great stop for a great coffe. They have a supermarket beside but I side de same place that give you a really nice choice to but any you get home or the nearby beach or relaxing place. You better go and visit this place.
