Riba Smith | Coronado

Even though the place is rather small, it focuses on food & drink and cleaning supplies only (you won't find car parts, electronics or anything of the sort, like you do in large supermarkets) and it offers a very good mix of premium products and more reasonably priced items. There is a lot of American products, but also a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables (unfortunately many in plastic containers) and local products.

Significant selection of US products, as well as local delicacies and unusual items.

This may be my favorite Ribba Smith in Panama because they were kind enough to add a kids park that will keep your little ones busy while you shop. Other than that they have a great selection of goods, as any other Ribba Smith. Their selection of plants and flowers is also outstanding.

Best supermarket in Panamá from my humble opinion. Excellent products and attention.

Produce are always plentiful, fresh, and clean

Great variety with fruits and vegetables, if you need lots of those in different varieties. It is not the cheapest, but neither is poor health and medical bills. Each time super99 or REY does not have a veg or fruit I need, I stop by Riba and they have it or at least other options.

As close as an American can get to Trader Joe's. Sadly, supply and delivery issues have lead to them being out of our favorites. Looking forward to their larger store in Coronado. We hope it will be as great as the Costa Verde location.

Very small and very busy, but they have all you might need, and the staff go out of there way to help you find things. They even ordered an item for me and called when it arrived.

Nice shop with a lot of options for travellers and beach goers to make their purchases. Lots of flowering plants too for beach house gardens. They have some tables outside for shoppers who want to take a snack etc.

Although not as large as some of the area markets, and although a bit pricier, overall product quality is very good. Only area market offering arugala and radicchio. Also offers an inside ice cream counter. Overall a good supermarket, especially for expats IMHO.

Some nice products and a good bakery. There own brand ice cream is excellent and imported French Brie.

Great selection very clean and modern. Excellent deli. And they deliver.

Excellent in every way! Although this is a smaller satellite version of the larger Rivas Smith’s in Panama City, the manager will order for you anything you like that they don’t have at the Coronado store. The gelato bar is to die for
