Villa Tavida Lodge

A really amazing place! So nice and quiet, beautiful with all the well kept plants - just a very special atmosphere! The food was very delicious and the staff and service were really very much attentive and accommodating. The swim in the waterfall was perfect. Recommend to stay here at least 2 nights as you can also do very interesting guides hike through the jungle of the property in the morning!

The perfect place to spend two days on Paradise with your couple. The falls onto the property make a unique environment with the special sound at bight. The food is typical Panamanian, very tasty. The attention are excellent 👌🏻. I will back very soon.

Villa Tavida Lodge is not only a beautiful tourist facility with excellent staff and excellent cuisine, it is also a place where the heritage and the ancient knowledge from Panama's heart are preserved.

Breathtakingly beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, and exceptionally good breakfast (and coffee). Truly enjoyed our stay. There's a very nice fall nearby. You can also do an adventure hike. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place that’s way better and genuine than the other touristic locations in the Anton area. You’ve the jungle for yourself including an amazing waterfall. Make sure to order a cocktail in the evening, one of the best we had in whole Panama.

All the reviews are true, this place is beautiful, peaceful and every room has a view of their waterfall that is only 10 min away walking. Great food with healthy options, they have a library and the rooms were amazing- the shower even has a window (with a curtain) if you want to view the waterfall when you shower! There are really neat glow bugs that start to come out after dark and they have an adorable dog that watches the property, I think Tavida was his name.

The people running this place were even more amazing. Juan was the caretaker on premises during our stay. On our last day there my husband had a semi-severe allergic reaction that showed up when we got back to the hotel room. In a panic I quickly ran over to the reception to grab Juan for help. The hospitality and generosity of Juan and Maria (the owner) was unbelievable. At that time I didn't know if the allergic reaction was going to get worse but Juan reassured us and told us to quickly go to their local clinic for help. Juan helped us get our bags into our car, called the clinic ahead of time, rode with us there, and stayed with us the entire time to make sure my husband was treated and okay to leave. I can't express how grateful we were for this. Juan and Maria were nothing but nice and reassuring during this incident.

So if you stay here, know you are in safe hands, supporting extremely good people and a wonderful community. We had an amazing stay and absolutely loved exploring the local area!

Serene, magical and beautiful that is Villa Tavida. Beautiful hikes, and amazing view of the waterfall from the rooms. Super friendly and accommodating Host and Staff. Great food too. This eco lodge has everything including a spa. Paradise in every sense of the word.

Stayed for two nights. Unique experience in the rain forest. Amazing hike with a guide. Saw petroglyphs, toucans, parrots and many other birds. Friendly staff maintaining a clean and comfortable eco resort.
