I was worried about car renting in Panama in general. Having chosen Thrifty downtown, I must say everything was great. Prices, car, full insurance policy (voluntary), etc

Thank you to Thrifty and Roberto for saving our Panama vacation. We had originally had a confirmed rental with another rental car company ($$), but they were closed on Dec. 26, 2022. I understand it was a holiday, but other travel companies tourists use (hotels, taxis, uber) were open for business including this Thirfty! And the other car rental company could have NOT confirmed our rental or declined it when we booked it, or gave some notice they would be closed.

Luckily, our driver knew that Thrifty was open and got us in a nice rental quickly and easily on a busy holiday! Thank you again Roberto and Thrifty! (and the price was similar to the other rental car company).

Excellent experience. Friendly English speaking staff. check-in and check-out was easy with no attempts to rip me off. There is no avoiding the Panama mandatory $18 per day insurance, but their prices are good.
