Thrifty reservation was $US89.00 on Priceline. When we got there the car offered was smaller than the reserved size, I had to insist that I needed the bigger car reserved. The attendant said 3rd party insurance was compulsory, along with 3 or 4 other questionable extra charges. My reservation price turned into US$237.00. Ridiculous! It was the biggest tourist trap and I'm holding Priceline fully responsible for this. But Thrifty has always been Shifty Thrifty so I will never use this brand again. After waiting half hour for them to clean a recent return SUV, I finally got my substitution. Stay away from this brand.
