Café Unido Casco Viejo

The best iced matcha you will find in Panama! It was so good I went back multiple times to order it. The matcha cake also tasted great and was so fresh.

The poppyseed lemon cake also tasted delicious and the avocado toast with eggs.

Staff speak good English and the decor is modern. It can be a little difficult to find a table during the day due to the number of remote workers using the cafe as a base.

They offer milk alternatives - oat, almond and soy!

The food is good, we got the avocado toast but they ran out of the acie bowel.

We also got the Gesha coffee, but didn't like it. The entire interior has a nice atmosphere, but seating is low so it's a hit and miss if you find seating.

Went there twice. Tried Geisha here. Their Geisha is washed and fermented, with extremely acid with dark chocolate flavor. Not my favorite. They have good service though. Some of their stuff are more knowledgeable than others.

A great place where you can try high quality coffee and other drinks..A roastery where you can buy their own coffee in a price like all the others in the city. Great atmosphere and very tasty dishes.. It's a place that i recommend it for sure. Try the delicious cakes l!

During our travels through Panama, our harbour for delicious cappuccinos and iced lattes. The atmosphere in the Unido cafés is always nice and cosy. Overall, it's a trendy place to get a coffee, wifi and if you're feeling a bit hungry, I'd recommend the avocado bread with eggs.

Nice coffee shop in the middle of Casco Viejo. Very friendly staff. Sadly the geisha coffee is terribly over rated. Nothing worth spending 11-14 dollars on. Stick with regular coffee or any other drink.

A convenient and comfortable place for vegan or veg friendly breakfast, lunch or early dinner. We had vegan “pan francès” with fresh fruit and a quinoa bowl with greens, pumpkin seeds, lentils, avocado and more. The house brand cappuccino was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and there is an English menu. I’m glad to say that like Dodo bon pan on the Plaza de Francia, there are some healthy affordable options in Casco Viejo. I can’t wait to go back, try more coffees and order more food.

By far the most comfortable coffee shop in Cosco Viejo… getting work done is easy to do in the comfortable seating with power outlets to charge. There’s great Wi-Fi and a water station upstairs. Highly recommended for quick business meetings or getting a few hours of writing done.

Amazing coffee shop in casco viejo. They have geisha coffee pour overs that are priced well ($10) and are excellent. Great food and pastries as well. Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing, excellently designed. Would recommend for work or just spending time enjoying your excellent coffee.

The Breakfast Sandwich here was SO DELICIOUS! The bun, the cheese, the bacon... The whole combination is just perfection😘

On the other hand, the Veggie Quinoa Bowl was a little disappointing. I thought it'd be a warm bowl but turned out it was iced cold, plus the dressing was a little too citrusy.

For drinks, I got the Cappuccino with Oat Milk. It was good but not extraordinary.

A favorite cafe of mine. Anytime I visit Panama, I stop by for a pour over. Relaxing vibes and great service.

Great, fancy coffee shop. You can tell they have a real love for their product. We ordered the famous geisha coffee and enjoyed it in house

Really good coffee, very soft, balance flavor. Good drink and food choices. Price similar as in US, but coffee quality much better. Espresso $3.25, latte $4.5. Dark chocolate bar 75% - $5.

Since I fell down the rabbit hole of good Espresso I am constantly disappointed by most espressos I drink in coffee shops. Well not today. Today I got the best espresso I ever drank in anywhere that wasn't my home. Probably better than at home if I'm being honest.
The barista had great knowledge and it was nice talking to them.
Really enjoyed being here and would recommend it to everyone.

Nice little Cafe with light breakfast options

Very cute cafe! The service was quick and coffee and food were delicious. They have vegan and vegetarian options for food. Spacious seating area upstairs and fast wifi.

Above average specialty coffee shop.  Decent equipment, staff is knowledgable, and they're roasters!  The space has a bright, clean, hipster-pub-meets-cafe feel.  There is split booth and casual seating in the upper loft-area, standard cafe seating on both the loft and main floor, and even a tasting room.

Coffee was great.  Several varietals from different regions in Panama.  Some of the processing techniques were unique to this roastery in particular, which was interesting. The typica we had (done "CC", or "creative cherry"; a fermented process) was quite tasty, leaning toward nuts and stone fruit.  The SL28 (done "N", or natural) was wonderfully citrusy and sweet (for coffee...).

The pumpkin soup was a little on the watery side, but the lemmon poppyseed loaf was good, and the GF chocolate cake was magical!

You can actually find Unido coffee in certain grocery stores, but the product in the cafe itself seems to be higher quality.

Of the coffee we have tried in Panama City, many aren't worth reviewing, some were quite good, but this place was the top of the list.
