Bambuda Castle

This was an amazing hostel! The staff is really friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about the town and recommending places to go. The hostel has a tour book to book activities through them with many options to choose from. The grounds itself are very well kept and unique making it a great place to stay in Boquete!

It's a great place, beautifully grounds awesome views, worth the price. Far enough from the downtown to be peaceful, but close enough to be accessible.

The open air dining room view to the mountains over coffee plantations was wonderful and will be remembered.

The staff and the grounds and the food… Truly everything about BamBuda Castle is extraordinaire. It definitely has an ambience of fantasy vacation. They have everything to make your stay superb and memorable. I hope to return. Ray, Damien, and my masseuse are kind, professional, and wonderful reflections.

The hostel itself is huge and extremely beautiful. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. It is a $4 taxi away from the center of town but the views from the patio and access to things like a pool and a kitchen make it well worth it

Restaurant has great food. Great location nearby the Main Street/top restaurants of boquete. Close to numerous hikes and coffee plantations.

Stayed in a small cabin and it was perfect. Hot water and cleaned the room daily.

Hot tub and pool are great too.

Beautiful castle up in the hills. Great view from the restaurant where you can sit outside and enjoy the view. We stopped in for drinks as we were exploring the countryside and are very glad we did.

I loved this charming place. The space is beautifully designed for everyone... backpackers to luxury travellers - all can play together in this gorgeous place! The kitchen is a little slow so order early if you have somewhere you need to be.... the portions and quality are excellent. They also have a kitchen if you want to prepare your own. The jacuzzi was a soother after long travels. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The place was exactly like described and in the pictures. The food was amazing and the staff did everything, that you felt welcomed and beyond happy. They even remembered your name at dinner after the first night😍

Service is great from the moment you step im to the moment you leave. Damian at the bar knows how to make you feel comfortable and happy with your stay and Reinin is a great host and helps with finding your way around Boquete.

We stayed in one of the hobbit houses. It was so charming. Beautifully crafted, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The chef is amazing!!! It sits up on a hill with beautiful surroundings. Cab ride into town was $4 US. So we’ll worth it. I would highly recommend staying there and would gladly stay there again. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful time.

I had the absolute best experience here. My first time staying in a hostel and it most certainly did not disappoint. I rented a private room, which was fantastic, but spent as much time as possible in the common areas. Tons of activities to do on site and amazing views. Also, incredibly close to some many things to do from exploring Boquete to outdoor hiking activities. I could have easily spent more time here and looking forward to returning!

I went just for lunch and the view is incredible.
Food is good and service is ok as well.
I would recommend to pass by for a coffee or lunch.

Fantastic place in paradise setting! Has a resort feel. Gorgeous garden with mountain views, pool, jacuzzi, super friendly staff and delicious food! Variety of different accommodations, private and dorms. Great place to relax, meet travellers from all over the world and go to beautiful hikes around. Highly recommend!

A comfortable and clean hostel with good rooms and facilities: pool, jacuzi, kitchen area, TV room, games area. Food is also very good.

The view from the outdoor terrace area is impressive and they even have a monocular telescope.

Be mindful that if you wish to be close to the town, this place is a 35-45 minute walk up/downhill or 8-10 minutes in a taxi.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Its a 5 min taxi drive from the main town so its really quiet. Room was great, really nice bed and hot shower. Restaurant was so good we ate there 3 days in a row and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I would def love to come back!

We stayed in a hobbit house and a shared dorm and had a great experience in both! There is a lot to do and the staff is very helpful. The place is a little far from town but they make up for it with all there is to do at the place!

Stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing experience! Absolutely gorgeous location surrounded by mountains & rainforest. We stayed in one of the hobbit houses which was perfect - clean, spacious and super unique! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the location is a 50 minute walk into town which is easy enough or a £4 taxi (for 2 people). Some great hikes nearby that you can do and lots of info in the reception on activities. Daily happy hour in the bar & a social place to hangout and meet people. Would definitely recommend for anyone travelling either solo or as a couple. I’d undoubtedly stay again!

I wish I could give Bambuda Castle more than 5 stars! Everything was simply wonderful - from our room and housekeeping to the restaurant/bar, to the patio and view. All of the receptionists were incredibly helpful and so nice to chat with. We stayed for 6 nights and we were still so sad to leave. If you are looking for an affordable yet luxurious place to stay in Boquete, this is your spot!

Lovely place with very helpful staff, good facilities and a great view. You do have to get a taxi from boquete town (~$6) and the shared dorm was quite busy with small lockers.
