Very good price for a room. Three community baths with showers available. As is typical with rural Panamá, only cold water. Everything was very clean. Great location near fondas, minisupers, and local transportation. Celia, the manager, was very courteous and helpful. She even went out of her way to have me talk to a man who worked at ANAM, for nearby Forestal El Montuoso. And, the pickups which travel to El Montuoso depart from the minisuper right across the street from the hostal. Good place to spend a night, and use as a base for hiking El Montuoso. Would recommend having at least basic knowledge of travelers Spanish if you plan to visit this town.
