Russian Foodies

Is a hidden gem. I really love their food as far as I know the owners are a Russian lady with a Panamanian husband (speaks russian too) so they are a powerful duo and the attention is beyond amazing and kind. When all the places for brunch are full I always come here because they have amazing breakfast and for a good amount of money and good portions. Lunch is amazing also and for people vegetarian they have plenty sweet options and always willing to adapt to your needs. Super authentic russian food so, is super worthy. (I have recommended to russians and they adore the place) The restaurant is small so is really not for going with many people (4/5 maximum for table) but is super tasty I highly recommend it to taste something different and I love the decorations and souvenirs from this place, super cozy and cute. Sometimes they close early so contact them to see their schedules.

This place is hands down my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee and amazing crepes both sweet and savory. Also you must try their Russian dumplings (Pelmeni). They are to die for. The owners are very friendly and inviting. There is seating for about 12 people. Half inside and half outside.

Great food ! Had the SYRNIKI with berries and it was delicious ! Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu. The owners are really friendly too.

Amazing Russian Food, please, try the Blinis and the Cappuccino, out of this world!

This is the only Russian restaurant in the city. Located at the heart of Obarrio, this place serves food with authentic flavors. Tried the Pelmenis in broth and the Blinis, simply delicious.

Amazing Russian food. I had the omelette and pancakes. It all tasted fresh and healthy.

Good-quality food. I got the fried meat pelmeni (mini-dumplings). Beautiful presentation.

The price seemed a little bit high, though. Not way overpriced, but I expected to get a little bit more food for what a paid.

Best Russian cuisine I tasted outside of Russia. But, the main thing is the service.
One day we had a brunch there, everything was normal, maybe a bit longer than usual.
But owners declined my intend to pay saying that service today is not so good as they are expecting.

This is great and place with soul! Highly recommend !!!

I heard about this place recently and had to go. The main dishes are a bit more than I like to pay at around $9 generally. This is a tourist area a bit though and you have to know where to eat for a good price here. The food was very good but if you get drink also the price is to high. Some juice should be included for that price. The service was good but they lost a star for me having to ask him to switch to Spanish when the expectation was set at Spanish. He switched when asked unlike some places that didn't and have 1 star.

Delicious food and nice coffee. Pet friendly! Had the smoke salmon blin and the beef blin. Only down was no dairy free options for the coffee but they allowed me to go to another shop and bring my own drink.

I have never been to a Russian restaurant before, so this was a very new experience for me. One that I greatly enjoyed! The dumplings were fantastic as were the Blinis. Little more expensive than other places but worth it.

Yummy syrniki and the blinchiki are great too. Taste of home.

The only worthy restaurant that earns the title of russian food all over panama. They have the classics of russian cuisine and the flavor profile is outstanding. Very satisfied with the food. 10/10

This is Russian food for real. It could be different sometimes, but it’s normal, “pelmeni” varies from region to house.
I like the details of cafe, you will find a lot of authentic posters and Russian culture details.
Besides, I live in Panama for two months already and this place shares with Nasca21 best value for money, while Russian foodies is family cafe and has it's own cozy vibe.
