Had a great time doing the canal to monkey island tour along with the sloth sanctuary. Our guide Mario was the best, he was friendly and very knowledgeable about the canal and the local wildlife. Really appreciated how proactive he was in communicating the day prior about our pick up. He was a great driver and car was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this day trip from Panama City

Aura led us on a wonderful adventure of a lifetime!!!! The morning started with a pickup in a comfy van at our hotel. We then rode to the boat to ride out to the islands (past the cargo boats waiting to go through the Panama Canal) to see monkeys. They did not disappoint! They came right down to the boat to eat bananas and nuts right out of our hands. (Aura brought a variety of treats the monkeys would like) We saw three different species. All so very cute!!
Then we were driven to Gamboa to see butterflies, dart frogs, and the sloths!!!! I had never seen a sloth and am so excited that I can now say I’ve seen them!! So very cute.
Aura was a wonderful guide….answering all of our questions in English and the other guests in Spanish, making everyone feel heard and welcome. She made sure everyone got to participate and have a wonderful day!! I highly recommend this excursion!!

Had a lovely trip with this company today. The guide Mario was absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable of the local area, pointed out sights and answered all our questions. The boat trip was lovely, the monkey Island was fantastic and the sloth sanctuary was worth it. Mario was super friendly, patient and accomodating with an older guest who was also on the trip and he also reccomended us a lovely spot for lunch after the trip ended. 5*. If i'm ever in Panama City again I will definitley use this company for a trip or two again.

Would highly recommend the Embera Village overnight tour and not just the day tour. Our pick up driver Ali picked us up at the stated time and spoke good English and told us what to expect when he drops us off at the boat launch. Ali came back at the boat launch the next day to pick us up also. He was very knowledgeable with any question we asked him.

We stopped to the waterfalls and was able to swim there before going to the village. Our assigned village was at Embera Drua and when we arrived we were greeted by the village tribe with we welcome music and met with Mateo (also called Mathew) who spoke pretty good English. All the food we had there was very tasty and plenty. We are able to play with the kids, watch the women make crafts, swim in the river and roam around the village. The sleeping accommodations were basic, but clean.

I did the monkey island, sloth sanctuary & panama canal tour, I had a marvellous time! I would definitely recommend the tour to others! Thanks to Mario, our tour guided, Mario is just amazing! Loads of knowledge, he've got story to tell about everything. Working in tourism you need to love what you're doing, you can tell Mario love it, he is passionate about everything he is sharing! Fantastic time with Armando on our monkey and sloth tour. He was fun to be around, very knowledgeable and brought us to some good spots. I highly recommend him and this tour!

From making the reservation online>pick up> San Blans island was superb! Our tour guide made us feel welcome had fruits upon delivery as a refresher to start the day ,spoke our native language and ensured the entire tour was organized 1000/10! I would book again a next tour

After initial confusion with pick up location caused by office in California the tour was great. Anna our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and the jungle. She came prepared with fruits for the monkeys which enabled us to take some great photos. She was right on on time and her car was clean and in good condition. She also had cold drinks for us.

She continued to tell us stories about canal on way to Monkey island. Until she almost lost her voice. She had personal connection with her Grandpa working on the Canal when he came from Barbados. Highly recommend the tour with her and this company.

Absolutely amazing morning on the Chagres River and in Gamboa. Our guide, Mario was communicative, knowledgeable and professional. He tried to convey some of the local history on our group even though we were a little loud. The 1st part of our excursion was to Monkey island. It was comforting to see that this company respects the local wildlife enough to only bring grapes and bananas to share with the monkeys. They were safety conscious and asked that we put our life jackets on before we left the dock. After visiting with the monkeys we drove to Gamboa to the Sloth Sanctuary. This was the perfect way to end our tour. The tour was well thought out and worth every penny. I wouldn’t change a thing and would book again in a heartbeat. I would also ask for Mario, he made the tour very comfortable.

What an incredible experience! We spent one overnight/2 days on the San blas islands! I highly highly recommend staying on isla Perro in the private cabin with shared bathroom! For one, there was shipwreck snorkeling right off the shore and beautiful coral reefs encircling the entire island! We saw countless fish, crabs, thriving reefs, and a huge stingray! Isla perro, in my opinion, definitely had the best snorkeling! For two, the cabin, although very bare bones, was perfect! The balcony was literally over the shore! We had a private little beach area and a hammock!

This is the perfect little corner of the Caribbean! Highly recommend taking a visit!

Ana Lorena was a wonderful local guide for the Viator Gamboa Wildlife and Sloth Sanctuary tour. She expertly and comfortably got us to Gamboa in spite of some really bad roads under repair. Melissa, our Chagres River boat operator was expert at getting us up close and personal with caiman and capuchins, tamarins and howler monkeys. Ana was well prepared with grapes and peanuts and let us share in the experience of feeding the 🐒. I would highly recommend Ana as a local guide.

Amazing experience! The experience with the agency was extraordinary. Our guide Ali was super kind and communicative at all times. He taught us a lot about the culture of Panama. Our tour to the waterfalls and the Embera community was wonderful and exciting. Our hosts in the Embera Community were friendly and were aware of our safety at all times. It is a very noble people and they know how to treat visitors. Thank you very much for such a beautiful experience.

Our tour guide was fantastic, Ali Douglas, he is very friendly and professional. He was explaining everything to us during our drive to the Chagre. A careful driver. It was a wonderful experience. It works every penny. I definitely Recomend this tour and specially him to be your tour guide.

Mario was an excellent guide who looked after us the whole trip. The trip was great and we saw loads of wildlife. Monkeys in the Gatun Lake, turtles, an iguana, butterflies, poisonous frogs and of course sloths! An early start but so worth it. Great communication and lots of sun with a small group - would definitely recommend thank you!!

We didn't really know what to expect for this tour, as we came totally unprepared. The locks were impressive, and from the local guide we also got enough technical details to get me really interested and my wife slightly bored. The fort was in a beautiful location, with an interesting history, and well worth a visit. Our guide Mario was pleasant to be with, as well as a safe driver, and answered our plentiful questions about everything related to Panama as best as he could. We had no problems with our wheelchair on the trip. And the best part: it was only us two and the guide.

Yani Island was beautiful and met our expectations. Expect nice camping with flush toilets and beds. All the people were very nice. The food was good and you never left a meal hungry. Kayak, SUPing, and daily snorkeling tours were also available free of charge.

We spend an amazing day with Ana Lorena our tour guide. She was very punctual, very knowledgeable and her English is excellent.
The indigenous community was fascinating, everyone was very welcoming, it is truly a unique experience, if you have the opportunity you should definitely do it.
