What a fun experience to shop here for jewelry and other accessories. The owner of the store, Claudia, was welcoming and kind. She explained that the store was a family business and even had their grandma’s chair repainted pink from the family home in the store. There was a large selection of Panamanian gold jewelry here when you first walk in. My friend bought a gorgeous pair of gold Golden Frog earrings. And I bought a beaded bracelet made in Colombia, which I ended up wearing most of my trip.
The store had a variety of fun jewelry, purses and even some clothing at a great price point. Claudia spoke perfect English, but I do try to speak Spanish when in Panama. But good for others to know if you decide to make the stop here because you prefer a no-hassle experience buying local jewelry as opposed to purchasing on the street from vendors. Plus, this stuff is much nicer.
