Canova Hospedaje

Solid rooms at decent rates. We stayed twice (before and after a San Blas trip). We chose them as they would hold our bags for us during the trip + they are close to the Metro, supermarkets and a department store.

Easy to find the place
The room were clean and neat
Ac was in great condition
Hot and cold water were available
Place to hang clothes was available
Sound proofing on windows were there
Thad good sleeps at night
Casco vieio was 5 min drive
Have a study table if you work on laptop or same can be used as reading table.. hotel is cute . good value for money and the host replies quickly if you have any thing to ask him

Such a pretty hotel, not the best location. The staff is nice, the rooms are pretty and clean, and the wifi works. It’s pretty affordable as well

A nice, cheap, secure and clean hotel in downtown with a nice decor and atmosphere, staff was pleasant to deal with and booking online was easy. Not a quiet area so bring earplugs.

Sparkling place and smells so good. Very patient staff, elevator is a plus, very good location near to bakeries, supermarket, pharmacy, street food.

Let’s set the tone immediately. The Canova isn’t a five star W hotel. Nor does it pretend to be. My room was basically a concrete square with exposed steel beams and ceilings. It was very clean and sparsely decorated. The bathroom is tile and concrete and includes a sink, toilet, and shower. And it was spotless. The Canova’s location is rough with heavy construction all around. It felt a lot like Mexico City to me. I believe I spent about $40ish on a single. Would I book my family here, no, but I was traveling alone and my tolerance levels are probably higher than most. I can confidently say it’s similar to a Motel 6 with three floors. The snack bar (a vending machine) is located on the third floor.

Good service, clean rooms, comfortable beds and unbeatable price.

Friendly and helpful staff, great services (TV, private bathroom with hot water, A/C) for good price. Can be a bit noisy (room on the street) but you are in the capital! 😉 We recommend Canova Hospedaje!

It's a very good place to stay for a cheap price. They provide hot water in the shower, a good cleaning service, great bed, there's a machine for cheap snacks and it is located in a very central location (close to Machetazo department store, 99 Super, Metro Station Loteria and many other points of interest). The AC is perfect, the TV has everything you'll ever need and the utilities of the room are decent.
The only thing I think could be better is the wifi, but it doesn't negatively affect the experience at all. I will sure come back !!!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would do so. All of the staff is very accomidating, and Edgar was absolutely amazing . It's extremely clean , hot water , excellent air conditioning, and great tv channels. Our host Emilio made sure we were taken care of , and it's greatly appreciated. We will definitely be staying again when we visit Panama City 🇵🇦 😁

nice little hotel in a central part of town.. close to the bus.. had no issues...ac worked cable channels with a few English options... if you ever go all for room 306 it has a small window... only complaint were the bumpy sheets...a few stands if hair on the bed likely from the cleaning lady... the overnight front desk gentleman was sooooooo helpful I forgot to get his name but he made sure I was safe and well taken care of from start to finish I greatly appreciate his help. If ever I have a PTY flight I will be staying there. Thanks for everything.

Nice stylish room with bathrom. There’s also a refrigerator in the room which is very useful.

For the price it’s really good! The area is a bit shady but the rest is perfect. Better book online, it’s only 28 a night.

Nice place to stay, good wifi and shops around.. not sure about the night life here but the metro isn't far anyway.
