Hotel Casa Miller

We lived here for three days. The place is very clean and nice, especially the staff are very helpful . We are very happy to choose Casa Miller as our hotel while we were in Panama City.

Good location, quiet room just behind a busier street with everything that you could need
The staff was welcoming and friendly !
The room was comfortable, with AC, TV etc..
I loved the style of the hotel, nice colors, and smells very good 😊
There’s also a restaurant with good food 😁😋

This place is so special. The pool,the hot tub, all on a great rooftop with a restaurant. But the people who run the place, is what really made it extra special. It's in a safe area where you can mingle with real Panimanians. You can't beat the value either. Book it.

A great hotel which recently (1 or 2 months ago) reopened being completely overhauled. Fresh paint, all new decorations, and a gigantic rooftop patio with rooftop pool and bar. Currently still in the process of building but it will be finished in May. The Greek owner has a vision for this place, and has invested to match that vision. The staff is amazingly friendly, the owner has stories for days, and the hotel delivers wildly over its price range. Don't be scared by the area, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, it's simply a bit more authentic.

Stayed there with my family for 2 nights! Excellent hotel! Very friendly personnel. The rooms are big, the breakfast is excellent, the location is very good! Next to the metro but many attractions are in close walking distance. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Panama!

Excellent hotel in a very good location! Many touristic attractions are close by as well as the metro. Metro is just across the street! Shopping is few steps away! Very nice and friendly personnel! They can arrange transportation as well! Breakfast is excellent! Large rooms with modern bathroom! Overall.. highly recommended!!

Still here but leaving on Thursday. Great place, comfortable, secure, with friendly staff, including Victor the wonderful Greek owner who is often around with his infectious enthusiasm and great stories. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They were wonderful with the little extra help I needed due to my disability.
Will I be back? Try and stop me!

Our stay was very pleasant. The personnel was very friendly and nice. Rooms are very cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. (our compliments to the cheff). We have nothing negative to say about Hotel Casa Miller. We recommend it 100 percent.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Loved how centrally located it is. Rooms are nice. Brand new beds. Beds are comfy. Hotel was quiet. $2 can ride to many local spots to check out. Owner is a cool guy too.

Very nice and clean room. Hot water AC work perfectly staff is very nice and helpful ( Nicolas en Enali) near everything you will want to visit metro is about 200 yard from the hotel. I do recommend this place also breakfast is included.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Casa Miller for 19 days. Our experience there is what i can describe as the exceptional. The rooms are clean, friendly personnel, great location for shopping.The owner Victor, friendly and very helpful. I recommend this hotel 100%. I would definitely stay there again. I have nothing to complaint about it was perfect.

I have stayed here four nights. I give 5 stars because for the price I got everything I could wish for and I was overall very pleased.

Staff: reception, restaurant, vendor and cleaning department, all have been very approachable, friendly and helpful.

Room: my room had a good bed, a big fridge small kitchen corner with sink, coffee machine and microwave for small meals if needed. There was a bar counter as well, which looked pretty but felt weird at first, later I found a more useful than the usual desk you find in other hotels. Everything clean and neat. Odd is the lack of windows as the hotel is indoors without access to outer windows for some rooms. But I never minded that as the air inside was very good and I didn't come here to stare out of a hotel window. A little more space to organize my things during stay is the only thing I wished for.

Laundry service: fair prized, fast and good... what more to say. My shirts were hot ironed and my cloth cleaned in no time.

Restaurant: the breakfast buffet is interesting with local ingidiants, coffee not the strong point though. But I appriciate that there is decent filter coffee instead of 20 bad varietys.
I had the most pleasant expirience when one night I was the only gest for dinner and the very cheerful cook made me an impressive meal of fish in coconut sauce, coconut rice, peach wrapped in fried banana, carribean salad and an unexpected dessert. I add this to my very pleasant expiriences In panama city list.

Location: walking distance to estacion 5 de Mayo (also good to tell that to taxi drivers as everybody knows that station) which is discribed as panamas not so safe places. I however found it a vibrant street with local artisan stalls, singing barbers and millions of taxis to use. I never had issues in the area but it is recommended to stay out of side streets and stay on crowded main road. Also not too far from casco viejo, albrook mall, amador and panama bay.

Overall: when I come back will stay here again, very convinient and turned out to be more than "just" the place to stay while I explore.

I stayed four nights there in a standard double room. It was very clean, as with the lobby and corridors of the whole hotel. This room does not have a fridge (unlike the deluxe double room which is also bigger), but nearby there are convenience shops and (about 5-10 minutes' walk) supermarkets to pick up cold drinks and icecream whenever needed. The complimentary breakfast is buffet-style with good selections and quality, not fancy but simple and tasty enough. The owner and staff all are utterly friendly and helpful. The hotel is not located in a fancy neighbourhood like Casco Viejo or Punta Paitilla; but it feels safe and i wandered alone even during nighttime. One can go to/from the airport directly by bus -- there is a bus that takes the Corredor Sur (i.e. $0.75 per ride) at the Estacion Maranon located 5 minutes away (across from Cinco de Mayo metro station).

My partner and I loved this place so much that we came back our second time around! They opened earlier this year (2017) so everything is new. On top of that, the rates are affordable, the staff is incredibly attentive, desayunos incluidos, the beds are super comfy, and the owner is friendly and hilarious. The surrounding area isn’t as nice as the hotel, but don’t let that turn you away. It is a safe area and the hotel is worth it. It’s a 15 min walk to Casco Viejo/Antiguo! Would recommend this place to my loved ones!

Really enjoyed this place. Extremely clean and new. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Easy walk to the city fishmarket and the old city. Take a cab or an Uber back at night as the neighborhood is not close to upscale- but very safe during the day. If you want an American experience stay in Balboa - if you are interested in seeing how Panamanians live this is the place. Only negatives were a lack of elevator and a bit noisy at night from the street .

This hotel is close (3 mins walk) to the cinco de mayo metro station and also in calidonia market place. Inside the hotel, rooms are clean, have a restaurent, bar and the very best cutomer service from the folks. Particularly if you have the owner victor around, he is very friendly and many folks in the area knows about him as he is managing the property for longtime. Also from this location you are close and well connected to multiple tourist attractions around. If you look for value and dont mind about the local market area crowd and noise while approaching the hotel, this is a bargain rate hotel at amazing value. Folks say bad things about Calidonia..in my humble opinion, as long as you are aware of the surrounding and follow basic travel safety, you will enjoy this place.

In my personal experience this club can be extremely accommodating if you wish to pay for the amenities. And in this case it is not a bad thing. My trip to Cristal Moon saw me with 3 companions. We were visiting from the states and had been to Elite and Miami Bar and even the Cotton Club before it shut down. But I have to say the most fun I have had was at Cristal Moon. They had a huge choreographed set piece at some point in the night with more than 7 or 8 dancers on stage. I really enjoyed the bowl/amphitheater style seating they had at the time and the no pressure atmosphere. It is a deceptively large club with very discreet access from their secluded parking garage. Go in with about $500 and you live like a king for a night. Honestly we spend more than that in states for an experience that pales in comarison.

Very good price/quality. 10min walk to old town. Cleaner do good job and rooms are very big and clean with big fridge, AC and coffee maker. Shower was no hot but ok. Hoter owner was very helpful and did tell where should go in Panama city and what is reasonable price. Taxi from hotel (4-person) to albrook mall is 5usd. From airport taxi was about 60usd. From hotel to airport its 25usd for 4 person.

Don’t judge a book by it cover. At Hotel Casa Miller It felt home. The stuff was amazing and very welcoming. Rooms were clean, shower is the best part. Different experience than a hotel really. I loved it!!! Thanks HCM

Can't beat the value. Very clean and comfortable. Encountered one of the owners (Victor). He was super friendly and had great stories!! Relaxed ambiance and the food in the restaurant was quite good.
