Dr. Mario Herrera - Urólogo en Panamá

Mario was extremely informative, good listener, and had a nice clinic experience. His secretary was in close contact with me via whatsapp prior to the appointment to guide me and then in person once I arrived.

As a Canadian, I was a little worried to attend a specialist in a foreign country but in the end I was happy with the process and look forward to continue working with Mario for my health needs going forward.

Doctor Herrera is professional and courteous and very knowledgeable in his field. His facility is very clean and organized, and his staff are very friendly and professional as well. He is always quick to respond to questions and concerns. I have had two separate surgical procedures from him. He explained everything in detail and was very good about follow up correspondence after the procedures. I highly recommend him and his facility.

Dr. Herrera is a consummate professional. I felt a great sense of empathy before, during and after my surgery. He takes the time to communicate and gives you a clear understanding of what to expect. I am glad that I found him, my experience was truly amazing.

Yesterday I had my first appointment with Dr Herrera. I was impressed by the doctor for his high professionalism rarely seen in medical professionals even in the United States. I am grateful for the professionalism shown by Dr. Herrera. I congratulate Dr. Herrera.

If I could give Dr Herrera 10 stars, I would.
I came to Dr Herrera in a bad way. I had 2 urinary obstructions in 30 days and was wearing a catheter. I researched who did the Rezum procedure and as of this writing, Dr Herrera is the only doctor in Panama who does the procedure.
From the start, Dr Herrera was accommodating, responsive and answered all my questions. It has been one month since my procedure and my symptoms are substantially better. I have probably seen more than 20 doctors in my life and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience with a doctor. Also, for those considering the Rezum procedure, I have heard testimonials stating that the procedure can be quite painful. Since Dr Herrera did the procedure under general anesthesia, I was spared that painful experience.

Super knowledgeable, informative and a great listener. Dr. Mario really cares about his patients. Totally recommended.
