El Rio Encantado

We stayed unfortunately only one night, as we were on our way to Boquete. But what a place this is. A real Bijou in the middle of the Jungle, with own Jungle, jungle trail and little river; and full of peace and calm. Very clean, well designed and maintained, wow. Thank you Frank for your hospitality and having created this piece of paradise.

Visited the pool area for a day pass but not stayed in the rooms. Paradise on earth. Quiet and a beautiful place to spend the day. They have a bar by the pool and the place has immaculate bathrooms beside the pool. Very friendly staff.

It's a pretty location on the caldera river. The people are super friendly and there is a full bar. Day tickets are available too. A nice place for a little get away.

This place is amazing, great location, so beautiful.

Beautiful and quit place to stay. Sleeping in a treehouse was a very special experience.
The host was super helpful and friendly.

Beautiful place. Immerse in the green, a few steps to the river, make this place a resting paradise. The pool area along with the bar in front of the river are the best options to relax and be in contact with nature. Friendly and helpful staff. This is the place where to spend several days away from the city. The Cabins are fully equipped. Also they offer small tours around the property, and outside you can enjoy horse riding, thermal pools and nice hike. Also very close to David and boquete.
Better visit if you have a car.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds. I loved the gardens. Very well maintained. There was an outlook area. The owner was super friendly and his German Shepard dog was beautiful and well trained. The facilities were super clean and there was soap and toilet paper, which believe me is not always the case in Panama. There was a nature trail which was fun for the kids and adults alike. We didn't get in the river but it was nice to have it in the background. Very secluded and secure. The pool was a great size and we all had a lot of fun. I love that there was a community kitchen area for us to use and we could BBQ there or brig a picnic basket which is what we did. There were several chairs and Hammocks and tables. The trea house was cool to see. We had the place almost to ourselves except for a couple other people. It was nice. There wasn't anything negative the ten of us found about the place.

Absolutely beautiful here. The grounds are immaculate, it is right on the river, so not hot. Walking trails, places to stroll & sit, listen to & look at the river. Beautiful pool with dressing rooms ,& towels, lounge chairs. Peaceful place to go for the day or spend a few nights.

Wow! We literally booked an Airbnb treehouse… and We were greeted with a full on resort. This place is incredible! Frank and Jose were so great at keeping us taken care of hosted and they felt so welcoming. Highly recommend and we will definitely return one day. You can’t miss the treehouse!

It has been 8 years since we visited El Rio Encantado and it is as delightful as it was then. A number of attractions have been added to make the property even more enjoyable. For example catwalk bridges across the river and new paths through the property have been added and an extraordinary tree house added to the accommodation options.
We had Cottage 2 which was perfect, there being 4 of us as it has two bedrooms. It is lovely. The young men working at the resort are attentive and delightful. Frank the owner is as sociable as usual. (His right hand man an extreme opposite).
Thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely oasis.

Awesome TREE HOUSE excellent Owner Frank & an EXPERIENCE not just a "stay" !!!!! I TOTALLY recommend staying anywhere at this lush beautiful property but ESPECIALLY recommend the TREE HOUSE!! yes that is right an actual tree house! My husband and I had an outstanding stay with Frank the owner and the other guest but the tree house experience is not to be missed! It has its own deck overlooking the lush property and

Easy to get to, one of the most beautiful places in Boquete area, flowers and tropical plants, river access, swimming pool, private villas. And love the Tree House.

Last summer we were in Panama and met Frank. He is the owner fo a fabulous resort. It is all around a fantastic river. So many animal to see!

The most beautiful piece of paradise, serenity, comfort, hicking, rapid river is the back yard. Rustic, but with all of the comforts of a 5 star hotel.

We went for an afternoon so did not stay overnight. It is a lovely place and worth stopping by. The cabins looked nice. But there is no restaurant, so be prepared to cook or eat out. Jose was very friendly who showed us atound.

We went to spend Thanksgiving there. The food was perfect, A huge plate of nice traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Nice friendly staff. The place is gorgeous and so are the cabins. We cant wait to go back and bring our family and friends.

Directly on a river. Quiet and private. Beautiful accommodations and pool. Great for kids. Great for exploring. More butterflies and tropical plants than I new existed. Real nature.
