This was my first time to Panama and stayed at La Compania on a friend's suggestion. The hotel staff was amazing, going over and above with attention to detail and ensuring everyone who entered as a guest left as a friend. The food and drink was delicious, the hotel itself beyond words. The offerings from spa, to high tech meeting rooms, to pool and an amazing assortment of restaurants was just incredible. The extra efforts and little details will leave you in awe. Highly recommend as your Panama go to!

The place was great. Nice community. Vey accessible. Close to everything. People are nice. Food was great. Rooms are clean. Can be a bit noisy if your room is the side the street though.

I have traveled extensively worldwide and highly recommend La Compania without hesitation. It is on par with some of the best hotels in Europe 👍

Wow, what an absolutely amazing experience! We just stayed 4 nights at this hotel right in the heart of Casco Viejo and could not be happier. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the historical points of the district and many, many chic bars and restaurants, although we honestly ate at the hotel several times, the food was so delicious! We had no problem getting dinner reservations at the French inspired 1739, which was truly a fine dining experience, and the Italian restaurant, Luigi's. The wine cellar is impressive. We also spent a couple of nights at the beautiful rooftop bar, Capella, which had excellent cocktails. This luxury hotel has every amenity you could want in addition to being a very interesting historical location. We stayed in the Spanish wing, which was impeccably decorated but had a historical atmosphere we really loved. The other 2 wings, American and French, were also beautiful. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and had excellent service. The entire hotel staff was helpful, pleasant, and bilingual. If we return to Panama City, I guarantee we will be staying here again.

My whole experience was truly amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The 5 restaurants were great options for food, and the room was stunning. I stayed in their French wing, so my room was very bright and spacious with a great outdoor terrace.

The hotel is in a great location with tons of things to do - including museums, great coffee shops, and dining.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to travel to Panama.

The hotel is magnificent. The hotel has 88 rooms, but we were made to feel like the only guests. The breakfast is served in a lovely restaurant and we liked the decor so much we had dinner there also. The staff is delightful.

I recently had a 3 day stay and I had such an amazing experience. From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I was captivated by its beautiful decorations and well-thought-out architecture. It’s evident that every corner was designed with care and precision, creating an ambiance that truly reflects the history of Panama with perfect blending of the modern luxury. What an amazing place to visit. The hotel history alone can intrigue anyone. The place is like a museum on its own. ÙIt is a beautiful property with rooms in either a French or an American wing. There are a number of restaurants and bar on location. There is also a rooftop bar where the swimming pool is. The overall visit was amazing, a must visit place.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Absolutely gorgeous interior and rooms, with a super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurants are all innovative with great food. We were blown away by our stay.

I recently stayed at La Compania for four nights on a work trip. I loved every minute of it! The grounds are breathtaking as is Casco Viejo. My room was lovely and the housekeeping staff were so warm and friendly…even through my very broken Spanish. I will definitely return. Next time I might not leave.

I had an extraordinary experience at this luxurious hotel in the heart of Panama's historic old town.
It's truly remarkable how they've restored this old building with three different styles. We stayed three nights in the French wing which was amazing.
We ate in all the restaurans, the food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch, all within an incredible setting.
A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of history and modern luxury in the best location of Panama City.

This place by far had the best restaurants in Casco. Everyone was amazing and we went to them all multiple times on our two month trip to Panama City. Highly reccomend for a night out!

Extraordinary hotel, the food was amazing. We visit restaurant couple of times. My usuall complaint: The breakfast finishes 10.30am, makes it impossible for me to have it. Good hotels should have brunch menu instead of having 'check-out breakfast schedule'.

A beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms. The service was 5 star all the way, reception, check-in and at all the restaurants. The location is perfect. Have fun!!!

If I could give six stars I would! My fiancé and I came here for vacation after going to Costa Rica. The hotel is fabulous. The grounds are spectacular. It feels like true luxury. Next, our lovely concierge Juan Diego was so friendly, gave wonderful suggestions and tended to our every wish! The entire staff makes you feel welcome - amazing hospitality. Each and every staff member at the hotel made me feel special to be there. The hotel helped arrange a tour of the canal and a walking tour around the old town. They also helped arrange efficient and affordable transportation for us.

We are at El Sanctuario for dinner one evening (same place as the breakfast) and my fiancé was blissed out by the Lecchon. I was very pleased with the paella. Make sure to order the casco sour! It comes out in a smoking cloche - quite the experience!

We also visited the 1739 bar, the ambience is really nice! Drinks are amazing.

Conclusion

We can’t wait to come back!

My only regret is spending just 1 night at the hotel. The hospitality was top notch. The amenities were 5 star. The food was a dream.

Elegant, refined, and a lovely hotel. The restaurants are plentiful and very good. The lobby bar is fantastic, and the bartenders were excellent!

The hotel is lovely, thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. The staff is amazing - the bellman and front desk teams are helpful and enthusiastic. Jaime even gave us a nice tour of the hotel with historical background. Conveniently located to all that Casco Viejo has to offer!
