We chose this place for our second wedding anniversary celebration, to our surprise this place is like a nature retreat. From our first experience entering the resort to leaving the resort was an awesome staycation. Delicious food, unique villas with unique rooms and good service. Though we missed activities such as cycling and star gazing due to rain, will definitely visit again for yet another moments close to nature.

Stayed here with our 1year old child for a few nights. Also had the opportunity of celebrating Nepal new year at this property. If I could have given 6stars I would. The people that work here are kind, humble, friendly and have a hospitality mindset. We felt like family and will definitely come back.
If you are looking for peace, small hikes and meditation this would be your place.

The staff here are lovely. The views apparently are amazing, sadly it was cloudy and raining when we arrived, but that is a great excuse to come back again!

I loved the food options on the menu and there were many Nepalese dishes. Considering how high and difficult the area is to get to the chefs do really well to create such dishes.

Quite a few hiking trails around the local area to see some of the sights. Lots of local wildlife around the resort, we saw colourful birds, deer and apparently there are leopards every now and then.

An absolutely fabulous stay. The exceptional service matched the beautiful Himalaya views. Great food (loved the spice).
Be ready to climb up and down a lot of steps...but with the care and smiles you receive from Guruji, and Benu and her team...one tends to forget those.

The Best Resort

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredibly stunning resort.

The rooms are incredible, built over two floors with expansive balconies. You had views from every room (yes, even the loo). The butler service was second to none. There were several places for you to sit and relax.

The food at the resort is excellent, a real highlight. The menu was extensive and catered to a lot of different palates. The quality of the ingredients was excellent.

The staff at the resort are all true professionals with no request to much. All of the heads of departments are also very professional.

But the star of the show (aside from the sunrises and sunsets) was the Guru. Yoga, meditation, all an unforgettable experience. Go for the views but really it'll be the wellness experience that you enjoy the most.

I will most definitely be returning to this beautiful gem in the mountains. In fact I cannot wait.

This 5-star location is on track to being a destination resort. The villas are spectacularly designed with Himalayan views, including Everest! The staff were accommodating and ready to help at any moment. The activities director, Bijay, was worth every dollar. His vast knowledge of the area and the thrilling hikes lead to once in a lifetime views plus a truly immersive cultural experience. A must try!

Hswami and his yoga sessions were special. He has a deep understanding of the practice and is genuine in spirit. His ability to teach and guide is unmatched. We appreciated his teaching and still communicate with him to this day! Highly recommended!

The overall feeling was welcoming and inclusive. The people felt as if they were showing yiu their culture without judgment or expectation. Once in a lifetime trip, plus the wonderful time at Kavya made our trip to Nepal a core memory.

I recently stayed at Kavya resort over Valentine's Day and it was absolutely amazing! I have nothing but great things to say about my experience, from the incredible yoga guru and massage session to the guided hiking with a surprise picnic and breathtaking Himalayan views.

One of the standout experiences was the sunset hike, which offered stunning views and a peaceful ambiance. It was the perfect way to end the day and relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, the bike tour of the nearby attractions was so much fun and allowed me to see and learn more about the local culture.

I also loved experiencing the local village culture during my stay. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that they truly care about their guests. The attention to detail and personalized service was evident in everything they did, from the food to the activities.

Overall, I can't recommend this resort enough. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way, and I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and inspired. This resort is a magical place ! The very beauty lies in the location of the resort.
This place does have a positive vibe and energy.
It is very natural, very serene and mystical.

Our purpose of the visit was to be with the nature, enjoy the natural beauty, gain mindfulness , meditate, yoga.
Honestly ,we had all the boxes checked .

The property is well laid-out with unique architecture bustling in the natural habitat. The exotic greenery, birds chirping, cool breeze and amazing views of the valley of Nagarkot and views of the mountains ( on a clear day ).

Hospitality is at its best when your host treats you with the best they have to offer to the guests. We were well received by Rajan and his team. They took care of us to settle well. The staff is very kind and respectful, special mention goes to Ashish, Thapa, Shivani, Krishna, Sudeep, Pritej, Srija. They created a family like atmosphere !

We stayed for 5 days and everyday was filled with containment through harmony of mind , body and soul !
This wouldn't have happened without the support of the two main pillars within the property , Ms. Benupama Karkee , the Resort Manager ( She adds life to the property ) and Sri Guruji , who adds soul to the property with his constant encouragement to see the purpose of life through yoga and meditation techniques. These two people are very dedicated to the wellbeing of guests and any minor disappointments are not worth mentioning with love and care they showered on our family .

It was very kind gesture from both of them , it was nice they came to say good-bye to us on our last day at 5.00am in the cold morning.

I highly recommend this place ! A beautiful blend of nature and people !!

I worked as incharge for this property before and I will say it was really memorable and sweet to be there in Nagarkot,whether it is place ,or people there ,both are truly wonderful !

This resort's architecture need special mention .It shows the traditional mud housing in Nepal with newar architecture and presented it in its most amazing style and nature.

The winding stone cladded pathways , chirping sounds of insects , fantastic view of Himalayas , view of Melamchi river , the deep green forest around , pure air and the loneliness in nature will make you feel wonderful.

Even though specially designed for honey moon couples it's a place for family too.Those who want to show their kids the wonderful beauty of nature just go to this resort in Nagarkot.I consider myself lucky to work there ,if not I would never seen the beauty of Nepal so close.

I still fascinate the muddy roads to Nagarkot ,the village feeling it gives me whenever i ride through those ways in bike .I been to all other tourist spots in Nepal but this one need very special reference! You can go trekking to Dhulikhel from here . I went on abike through this road and then i touched clouds on the way.You can see it in my YouTube blog jojivlogs

This resort is just like a home away from your home with its specially designed villas ,bath tubs , balcony views . Some times you can touch clouds here too.

Hospitality of Kavya team also need special mention.A simple walk through in this property will fill your mind and soul indeed.Fresh air is the major attraction of Nagarkot as a whole and here this location is special for that.Nearby you can climb a small hill to see the whole location of Nagarkot from a higher altitude.

Even you are going there as couple or family or alone too , it certainly gives you the warmth and care of mother nature .Water there is pure itself without filtration but hotel again filters it to keep the international standards .The mist in Nagarkot is famous and you can see and experience it more than any other resorts nearby.

I am an international traveller and been to many resorts but the the feelings and experience as a former employee as well as a tourist in this resort is really commendable and worth mentioning.

Experiences cannot be described in words to fullest , it should be experienced in real.So make a plan and go to this wonderful resort ,stay there atleast four or five days to have the full experience of this resort!
