Sunrise point home stay

We spent one day here and we would repeat! The family is super nice and kind, they really try to make you feel comfortable. It takes you about 15 min to reach the place from Nagarkot village but just in front of the room you can see the amazing sunrise, so it is worth the walk. The place is clean and the food is absolutely delicious and not expensive. The only bad thing I would say is that the mattress is quite hard. Ah! The hot shower feels really relaxing also.

My partner and I can not speak highly enough of this homestay! We stayed in February so it was very quiet which is perfect as it is such a peaceful setting. The family is so kind, they even invited us to a community party happening during our stay. The rooms are large and clean, water is hot, food is cooked from scratch, phenomenal views from your bedroom window and balcony, very affordable. All I’d mention is that it is a 20 minute walk from the town center where most busses drop you off, but there’s taxis available.

We had a wonderful stay, with delicious food and the most welcoming family. The accommodation is simple, but very clean and with the most amazing views right outside the door with the possibility to just sit and relax. Wish we went sooner, in order to have time to explore this region even more.

Simple but clean rooms and washroom at this price. Hot shower is really great, which is rare in accommodation in nepal. The bedding is traditional Nepali mattress which is good for the spine.

Morning sunrise view just outside the room is super. Nice family, willing to share and preserve their own culture as much as possible. We are happy to visit the nepali mud hut in which they are staying....

The host uncle ji is a good cook, I especially like the nepali veg Thaili but other items are also fresh, tasty and special in taste. And I love the Ginger Milk tea. Local eggs can be served on request. They know how to make continental food , pasta and homemade style of pizza. Price of dishes are also budget. We hardly had outside food.

The dining place with windows of good views is awesome where u can enjoy seeing birds on trees in morning while having breakfast.

There are a few easy trails and short walk which is worth going . Easy to explore on your own with guidance of host . I especially like the village ambience and life of people Here in Nagarkot. It was a paradise to me . I hope people here will continue to preserve their valuable culture and avoid destroying such wonderful landscape in Nagarkot.

We had a great 5 days stay at Sunrise Point Homestay. The location in Nagarkot is amazing, quiet, with a scenery landscape view on the Himalayas. The family took great care of us: we tasted many of the nepalese specialties of the menu …and all dishes were delicious, without saying fresh from their garden!
We highly recommend this Homestay. And will for sure stay there again when back to Nagarkot!

A lovely homestay with a great family in a remote location. Amazing views from the room. Room was basic but all you needed and very clean. Very tasty breakfast and dinner made by the family who couldn't do enough for you. Great for people who like some hiking and exploring.

Great accommodations for the price and amazing food. The owners were very friendly and made my stay as pleasant as possible. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area that is looking for simple accommodations.

Such a lovely place to stay! Ram and his family are the sweetest and will make you feel at home right away. The atmosphere is relaxed, the rooms quiet and peaceful with an amazing view. You can enjoy tasty homecooked meals, freshly prepared with vegetables from their own garden. And all of this accompanied with friendly smiles. The surroundings are beautiful and there are accessible hikes really nearby.
If you want some sweet memories to cherish after your trip, you should definitely stay here!

I had an amazing stay at sunrise viewpoint. Ram, Raj and their family are incredibly nice and will give you a very warm welcome. I spent my two evenings there chatting with them and the other guests, and I learned a lot about Nepal. The food is very good and organic (most of the food comes from the garden). The location is also great : very quiet with a beautiful view and amazing sunrises.

Best place I stayed in Nepal. Lovely place with lovely hosts, view is amazing and the rooms are clean and quiet. Highly recommended for anyone who looking for authentic and relaxing experience

Incredible view! Peaceful environment.
The food is really good and all ingredients are from their land. They made us feel like family. A 5 mins walk from the panoramic trail. My mom and I would come back anytime!

Spectacular place where to see the sunrise and the himalayas mountain from the door of your room. Best food and price ever, from their own garden most of the products, even the honey!! I wish i could have stayed longer than 3 days.

An incredible view, an organic food very tasty, and a family so nice, that I thought I was a member of the family. I advice you to go at this place if you want to visit Nagarkot.
