Peaceful Cottage & Café du Mont

We chose the economy double room with garden view. One should choose the garden view rooms over the mountain view ones, as they are much cleaner and spacious
The staff were really cooperative. The rooms were quiet within our budget and had all the amenities needed.
Just the location is a bit far away, which is why transportation will cost you more.

But the view from their restaurant is amazing and worth all the hassle

The hotel deserves to get the name peaceful cottage. Their old building was iconic with the himalayan views and its classic looks. However their new buildings are also guest friendly. The F&B Service is also fine and they serve very professionally. Its is a good place to stay in Nagarkot.

The location is ideal to stay. You may enjoy the warmth of the sun’s rays as well as the stunning panoramic views of sunrise and sunset. The food tastes wonderful (I liked the special Pizza the most). The most significant aspect is that you can have pleasant, clean, and neat accommodations with room service. The hotel owner and staff’s warm demeanor and attention make you feel at ease and at home. It’s obviously a home away from home.

Location: Amazing resort. Comfortable space with peaceful environment. Perfect destination for nature lovers.

Downside: Nearside Construction

The view is very stunning. The location at Nagarkot is very high above the ground, providing a beautiful view of the Himalayas, and the food is really delicious. Both the standard and budget accommodations are fantastic. Due to the hotel being completely booked on Friday, we had no choice but to remain in the budget rooms. We're certain to come back. I appreciate your gracious welcome, Peaceful Cottage.

Personally I had a great experience here. Stayed in the corner room, though we couldn't enjoy the view due to weather conditions, the stay was warm and cozy. We got accomodation, dinner and breakfast for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this peaceful place if you're looking for a quick, fun getaway with a view.

Not sure about the rooms as we didn't stay at this place although we went to have lunch at the cafe. Food was freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and you get amazing views of the Himalayas from the courtyard where you eat. If you're staying near by this location can recommend to eat from here as prices are comparatively cheaper.

One of the best views in the world, unobstructed Himalaya range, you even can see Mt. Everest in the distance. Clean and cozy rooms, nice food, great breakfast and very helpful staff. My strongest recommendation for Nagarkot.

The vintage design and atmosphere will certainly impress the guests. I stayed for a couple of days here and was greatly impressed by the hospitality and the environment.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. The sitting area on the roof allows you to enjoy the wonderful view of the Himalayas and the clouds. You can climb up the stairs to go to the top of the hotels (I did, but do not know if it's officially allowed or not) to have the best view, but to have a chilling afternoon you may prefer the comfy chairs at the sitting area.
The rooms offer a vintage accommodation. You may like the room, balcony and the baths.

It was not peaceful coz of ongoing work. But the view is perfect.

Loved the service. Good food and a very peaceful place indeed to stay for a few days. Just sat on the open area for 5 hours straight. Had an awesome view of the mountains. Cool breeze and they are very well mannered, humble and friendly. They will give you privacy and everything is superb. Usually there's isn't much to do in nagarkot unless you go for trekking. So you just roam around. You get a very scenic mountain view right from the terrace of the resort and you can spend hours here doing just nothing. Recommended.

Absolutely love this place! Really affordable, yet very good food, good service, rooms with AC and a clean bathroom. The environment inside the hotel is heart warming, filled with indoor plants. Great mountain view. The area is very peaceful. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Great place to be with family or friends. Definitely visiting again.

Best Location to experience beautiful sunrise and sunset. The view of the mountains were breathtaking. Also one of the best customer service with delicious food. 5 stars from my end.

The hotel was quite good. The service was quite commendable. Kudos to the interior decoration of the rooms and the location. The way to the hotel location might be a bit difficult but as soon as you reach the top, its just so calm and serene. Apt hotel name. Now, to experience the complete monuntain range view we were not expecting it as it was very cloudy. But fortunately we did atlast see it. We waited to just get a glimpse from 4:30 in the morning and the range finally peeped out at 9am when we were about the leave Nagarkot. Overall it was a really nice 1 night stay.

Run by the loveliest people, this is a nice place to go for a beautiful view onto the Himalayan mountain range at sunrise and sunset. Rooms a very good, and you will love their breakfast and hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful time at your cottage!

i have been there for two day. the environment was really beautiful. it was nice and soothing. the top floor had beautiful 360 degree view of mountain. wifi and other facilities were satisfactory. if anyone wants to enjoy time in the lap of nature, and enjoy great view then it is the best place. good items in breakfast is few. over all i recommend the cottage.

Peaceful Cottage is most probably the best place to stay in Nagarkot. They have a 360 degree view room at the top and if you can avail that you won't even have to leave your room for the scenic beauty. I had my best food experiences their. They have complementary buffet breakfast which is of top class. Though due to geographical location you may face several power outage during your stay but it shouldn't bother you... I stayed there in april 2018... The decorations are marvelous there. And all the management people are so kind and welcoming... They have literally 6 star service
