Chitlang, situated in the southwest of the Kathmandu Valley, Stands out as a prime destination for both domestic and international tourists. Despite the challenging road conditions from Kathmandu, the journey becomes even more adventurous with the beautiful scenery during the day. As night falls, Chitlang becomes quiet and dark, with only a few people around. It's the best place around Kathmandu to escape city life.

Chitlang is very good for people living in the city.
For those going from the village to the city and from the city to Chitlang, it was not special.

मकवानपुर जिल्लामा पर्ने नेवारी बस्तीमध्ये चित्लाङ एउटा हो। चित्लाङ गाउँ चारैतिरबाट हरियाली जङ्गलले घेरिएको छ । चित्लाङ हरियाली र नेवारी सम्पदाको गाउँ हो । चित्लाङको भ्रमणको क्रममा नेवारी सम्पदा, घर, मन्दिरहरू फेला पार्न सक्नुहुन्छ।

चित्लाङको आकर्षणको केन्द्र नाशपातीको बगैचा पनि हो जहाँ हजारौं मानिसहरु घुम्न आउँछन् । चित्लाङ बस्ती लिच्छवी युगको हो जुन भारत र तिब्बत बीचको व्यापार मार्ग पनि हो। त्यसबाहेक पुरुष बोकेर काठमाडौं प्रवेश गरेको पहिलो गाडी पनि चित्लाङ हुँदै छ । त्यसैले चित्लाङ गाउँ नेपालको इतिहासको अभिन्न अंग हो

चित्लाङले काठमाडौं, हेटौंडा वा अन्य प्रमुख सहरको परिवेशको तुलनामा उत्कृष्ट मौसम अवस्था प्रदान गर्दछ। चित्लाङमा दिन सामान्यतया न्यानो र रात चिसो हुन्छ। चित्लाङको यात्रामा चित्लाङको ताजा हावाको आनन्द लिन सक्नुहुन्छ। चित्लाङलाई अर्गानिक गाउँ पनि भनिन्छ । चित्लाङ काठमाडौंको तरकारी र फलफूलको स्रोत हो ।

चित्लाङ गोट चिज, कुलेखानी जलविद्युत बाँध र नेवारी बस्ती बाहेक वरपर पैदल यात्राका लागि प्रख्यात छ।
