Amazing place lots of culture beautiful views friendly people on top of the world the drive to kalinchok is long and slow if you haggle you'll get a good price to head up in a 4x4 cable car is around 1300rp for foreigners highly recommend visiting though.

Very beautiful place. You can sea top of the world moint everest from here. The height is around 4000 m from sea level. If you want to see mountains its very good place. You can get there in one day from kathmandu. Its better to use private vehicle. Ie, jeep, motorcycle etc

U need to call it a heaven in Earth . A fusion point for religious pilgrim and travel exotic person .
The place is nice escape into the nature . Away from the crowd and noise lies high hill station perfect to stretch your calf muscle. The panoroma of views is majestic and the you just seem like a spectator floating in the cloud .
The other wise naked mountain is covered with a thin blanket of snow during the snow .
A night and a day is all you need from Kathmandu to be there with good road accessible adventure.
The cable car service is even available at the high land but the walk is all you need truely to conquer the joy of trekking.

When I was children my family bring me this place great place beautiful view. One of the best places for tourists. But now a days they have cables car facilities now very easy to come and go. Before my time we have to walk charikot to kalinchok temple. Very hard to stay at night. We did not found for home stay.

Feels like you are in heaven when you reached top of hill. You can see the mountain like Gaurishankar,Sagarmatha from top.

Kalinchok is the beautiful place of Dolakha district. We can see cable car from Kuri. The rate of cable car is 500 Nepali rupees per person. The mountain view is amazing. This is the best place to spend spiritual and natural life. It's very near from Kathmandu. You can get a bus from Khulla Manch Kathmandu.
