Kali Temple

Though it's a lot lesser than a "1000 steps", it's still not an easy climb! But it's definitely worth a visit. The views are spectacular! And it's such a nice temple! 🙏🕉🙏 (Plus, there's a lot of other interesting things to see on the way up to the temple.)

We had to make it through “1000 steps” before reaching the top and we expected it to be tough but don’t worry it’s pretty easy, takes about 30 minutes starting from the gate.

I love the energy of this place. To reach the temple you have to climb the 1,000 steps stairway.
The temple has a very holy energy.
It is one of the main pilgrimage temples of the country.
Humble in its structure it is very intense in energy. Me and my wife we felt really blessed here.
The views from the top of the mountain are beautiful.

I love this place. Morning walks at the early morning to see sunrise from 1000 sidi is refreshing. After morning walk, to have Jeri-swari and Pongs with milk tea is heaven in a plate and a glass 😊. Such a beautiful place to be- Dhulikhel

Beautiful location . Very closed to city but still so quiet and peaceful. The walking trail is fantastic and well maintained. You can go drive also but walking will be more worthy. On the way back you can see a buddha statue which is also attractive and from where you can see dhulikhel City area.
Morning and evening time will be best so that you can see sunrise ore sunset.

Really beautiful Kali Temple. Lovely view of surrounds. A bit crowded because of Saturday holiday.

A nice view point nearby Dhulikhel. Beautiful Dhulikhel and other hundreds of villages of Kavre and sindhupalchok can be seen from
this place. More over spectacular view of Gaurishsnkar and Langtang mountain range are seen, if it's not hazy and cloudy.

Beautiful place to go for hiking if you just have a day on hand. Truly awesome seen of kavre district; high hills and if you are lucky you may also see the majestic Himalayas.
Kali temple adds a religious importance to this scenic place. :)

It's a quick 20-25 minutes hike up the stairs. You can get there by car or motorbike too but highly recommend to walk since it's more fun. The place is ok. Mostly crowded.

This is point to see Dhulikhel city and surrounding landscape. This place gets crowded on Saturday due to high number of domestic tourist for picnic. You can reach this place by walking through 1000 steps stairs or by vechile. it's is on the way to Dhulikhel Namobuddha hiking trail.
