Though the price is too high , At least you can find something to eat at the top, better carry the dry foods and drinks. No any tea shop or food stalls between the lake and the base camp. Altitude is high so its good to carry warm and its necessary to be physically fit to reach there

Such a good place for visiting

This is mostly closed in off season, early morning and bad weather conditions. The temperature is chilled. Hence every traveler must carry dry food and at least 2 liters of hot water.

It is must as you will need energy to reach here through the dangerous steep hill and return back to the Tilicho base camp.

I recommend everyone not to take a chance as you cannot drink the lake water. we were group of 5 persons. 1 liter of water was finished by each while reaching there and we lost energy as we did not have enough dry food and water.

Be careful! Luckily we brought some snacks with us to the lake because we found out that the shop was closed. More than that, it was ruined. So bring your launch to the lake
