Badal Danda is in famouse tourist destination Annapurna Conservation area.

It is on the way to famouse Mardi Himal trekking. Beautiful Mt Fishtail, Mardi Himal, Mt Annapurna can see from Badal danda.
Birds, flowers, wild animals and more are attraction .

On your way to Mardi Himal high camp, you'll come across to this view point just after you get out of the forest area. It is Badal Danda or Mid Camp. There is a 360 degree wide view. To your left you'll see Annapurna Sanctuary including Chommrong from bird's view and looking forward you'll see all the trail you will step up to high camp. Incredible!

You will find this awesome place on the Mardi Himal Trek, before High Camp.
Remember, the name means Cloudy hill, so you can find fog suddenly.

You'll reach Badal Dada from Pothana after walking for almost 6 hours (if you walk 5000 steps or 5km per hour on average in ascending way). And you'll reach to High Camp from Badal Dada after 1 hour.

You'll find shed of Yak, but you should go before Tihar (Late October) to watch Yak in this location, otherwise you can also witness them in Low Camp.

Half of the trail is easy and half of the trail to High Camp is super duper tough. But the trail is worth walking as you can have 360 degree view of the green hills, clouds and mountains.

A place where we should stop for lunch or atleast tea before we head to the High camp. It easily takes 2 hours to reach the High camp from Badal Danda

One of the best locations for the Mardi Trek. Personal recommendation would be stay here on your way up. You would see one of the best views. One of the best sunrises if weather is clear.
