Chandragiri Hills Resort

A luxurious resort on the top of the chandragiri hill; a bit far from crowded city with air-conditioned natural cool temperatures. One could enjoyed the spectacular wide view of concrete city of Kathmandu valley. Luxurious ambiance, cuisine and atmosphere. I love the stay and hospitality. A perfect blend of nature and hospitality tourism.

The view from my room was breathtaking, like a painting of majestic mountains.
The staff was super cooperative.
Rooms were comfy, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Jacuzzi and the infinity pool was an amazing addition to our stay! Quiet and amazing property to spend one/two days.
Easy access to the cable car made exploring the hills a breeze. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery! ⛰🌟

The resort offers a tranquil atmosphere with stunning views, despite the less-than-ideal weather. Managed to catch a glimpse of the Himalayan range. The accommodations were top-notch, truly deserving of a five-star rating.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chandragiri Hill Resort. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views of numerous mountains. The food was delightful, the room was comfortable, and waking up to the morning view was simply perfect.

I spent one night during the weekend, the room was luxurious (with all facilities). There were many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner but I was a little disappointed with the service (maybe because of the crowd).
And from here alone you can enjoy the view of the valley with the hills and mountains. You can also reach here by cable car 🚡 or hike..

Totally worth it! I had such a lovely time eating lunch here and enjoying the views. Wish I booked the hotel too for an overnight stay.

Spend 3 days and two nights to attend an international learning exchange programme of a gathering of 150 people.
Located in the Chandragiri hills. From the cable car station on the hill, one has to go down the hill to the hotel. Beautiful location. Unpredictable weather. You can see layers of clouds below to obstruct the view of the city below. It can rain anytime. Mystic and cloudy. On a clear weather you can see the long range of Himalayas with Annapurna peak. Food quality is not that great. A beautiful place. One must visit and for more than one night

It is a nice resort whereby you can take a cable car 🚠 up and come here by the van if you are staying there. Nice food and cafe there. The scenery is gorgeous and nice weather and pollution free. I will come again. Even you are not staying here, take the cable car up and enjoy the weather and views here. And have nice food served there. The cable car is around $22 for 2 ways just take note of the lunch break of the cable car time table.

Absolutely amazing place,
If you are in Kathmandu you have to go stay at this hotel.
The food is great we mostly ate the local thali meal which was one of best I have had in Nepal.
Just be aware this hotel is at 2500 meters you may feel the altitude a little
I felt it was a little hard to breath the first few hours but the next day I was fine:)
Also make sure to contact the hotel about how to access this hotel, we took a bike but the road was very sketchy lol.
I believe you can take the gondola and they will pick you up from the top and taxi you 5 minutes to the hotel✨

It was a family trip of 1 night stay & the hotel location is awesome & rooms are perfectly maintained with huge size. It's a beautiful & well maintained resort. You can view Himalayan range from the resort & it's really mesmerizing....
The staff of the resort are well mannered, helpful & highly skilled at their respective services. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Highly recommend to stay for a night & enjoy beautiful nature.

Nice place. The resort is a bit pricey. But nice experience and the view is wonderful

They have a HUGE breakfasts room which over looks the pool, helipad and the mountains.... there is a shuttle from the cablecar entrance to the hotel which runs frequently... It's a very peaceful spot. There are also hiking trails to the village in the mountains, and to the temple at the peak. It has a temple, open bar, and play area for kids. (Zip line, pony rides, and other stuff..)

Really amazing place. It shows that Nepal is the best place for roaming and It is the heaven of the world.

It's a paradise up there at 2551 meters....only 25kms away from my home ,it's easy to reach up there, good road.... what is enticing most is the temperature tht dips down to 16 degrees up there and we can watch our Kathmandu valley all bright and sunny. It's bright here too,but it keeps changing...in no time we will be floating in the misty clouds...then it rains, I will call it mistfall....oh I love it up there 💕💕

Calm and naturally relaxed place from where you can enjoy the views of mountains peak

One of the best resorts in Kathmandu. Located at a height of approx 2500 mts ASL, the resort gives a different kind of experience. To reach the resort, we need to have a Gondola ride which is a refreshing ride from a height of 1300m to 2551m. We could not experience the view of Himalayan range as it was cloudy, but the other views including hill range and valley are awesome. The rooms are ok and the food is also nice. It was one of my memorable stay.

The most peaceful location around Kathmandu valley. Dinner and Breakfast better than some five star in Kathmandu.

Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted with warm and friendly staff who ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The resort itself boasts a serene and peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, providing us with a comfortable stay.

The food at Chandragiri Hill Resort exceeded all expectations. The on-site restaurant offered a wide range of delicious Nepalese and international dishes, all prepared with great attention to detail and using fresh, local ingredients. The quality of the food was outstanding, and each meal was a delightful experience.

Of course, the biggest highlight of staying at the Chandragiri Hill Resort is the panoramic view it offers. From the resort, we were able to witness the majestic peaks of the Himalayan ranges, including the mighty Mount Everest. The view is simply awe-inspiring and something that can hardly be described in words. Watching the sunrise and sunset from such a vantage point was an unforgettable experience and certainly the highlight of our visit.

The resort also offers various activities for guests to enjoy, including hiking and nature walks. Exploring the surrounding area allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Nepal.
