Very nice experience for 3 stars hotel. Staff is welcoming, Rooms are clean, hotel smells really good, bathrooms are renovated and it has a very nice outdoor sitting area

12 KM away from Giethoorn, you can cycle with electrical bike which can be rented in the premises or drive it for more convenience especially that parking is free in the center

You need to inform them about your dining desire in advance which might be limiting

Hotel Cafe Geertien, Muggenbeet, Blokzijl, Netherlands is one of the best hotels I have visited. It is in northern parts of Netherlands, situated in National Park. Everything about the hotel is excellent. Location extraordinary, excellent. Near by activities, you can do various things. Restaurant beyond imagination. Rooms, all you want is there. Food good. Staff very courteous, cooperative, charming, and knowledgeable about the area.

Had a very nice dinner with family. Beautiful location and good food and service. We did not stay here, but visited the terrace and restaurant.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed 2 evenings in the restaurant. Perfect - the room was comfortable and had fly screen to protect us from mosquitos bites - absolute necessary 😏. The food was excellent. Fully recommendable!

The most fantastic gem you will find. Way above our expectations. Staff is friendly, service level is high and the food is great. I would definitely recommend it.

Very Nice and kind and helpful people ( good place for relacxing and spending time away from the city ... but if you intention is a visit Giethoorn and taking the boat it will be better for you take a hotel inside the village near the boats renting area...
