Improve Physiotherapy

I have been having shoulder and wrist pain for many months, caused by studying and computer work for long hours. Other physiotherapists in Wageningen gave me very generic advice, such as "do sports" or "stretch", as if I wasn't already doing these things.

Mr. Matthijs did his magic, and in just 1 session, after following his advice, I feel much better. I waited a while to post this review, to make sure it's accurate.

Before going to Mathijs I didn't have full mobility of my neck and I was always in pain with my back. After only 4 sessions my neck is completely good again and he fixed other issues on my lower back. Thank you very much Mathijs!

I was in pain and had lost some mobility in my right arm from carrying my daughter in an uneven way and supporting clients (I'm a birth doula, so my work is often physically taxing). One session and the strength is back, Matthijs quickly pinpointed and fixed the problem and gave me some stretches to keep things balanced. Professional, efficient, skilled, and perfect manner. Would recommend to anyone with loss of mobility or pain from injury or tension/overuse.

After a bad injury at volleyball, in which i broke my foot, I decided to start physiotherapy at Improve. Matthijs is an absolute expert. With few exercises has allowed me to recover from a strong pain in the knee and in the ankle.
He also adviced me different exercises to strenghten my muscles and I immediately felt stronger and able to be back to normal life.

Excellent treatments, I regained the ability to walk pain free from inflamed heel after several treatments. Additionally, we worked on shoulder mobility and I almost recovered to 100% pain free shoulder movements from not being able to raise hand fully. Highly recommended!

High level physiotherapist, recommended.
While I was playing football I injured pretty badly my shoulder. Matthijs has helped me and in a few sessions my shoulder was better. He manually treated me but also he taught me how to do specific exercises in order to get better. Today my shoulder is even stronger than before I injured.

I went to Matthijs with a groin injury that I couldn't shake off for over a month. After one physio session and being assigned some exercises to perform for one week, I returned for assessment and the injury was gone. His treatment was highly effective in resolving my injury and he was totally professional in his approach. If you're around the Wageningen area and are looking for a physiotherapist this is the guy I would recommend.

Improve Physiotherapy helped me very well with a shin injury. Through a series of movement tests the problem was determined and checked by Matthijs. Thereafter, Matthijs massaged the area and gave me some excercises for home to strengthen a few muscles around the shin. After a couple of sessions I could run pain free again!

I went to Matthijs to treat a sport-related shoulder injury that I was dragging for weeks. He was very professional in the two sessions we had. After making me different strenght tests, he detected the most likely underlying reason of my injury and treated it with therapeutic massages, He also taught me some exercises to prevent gettng the injury again. which have been very effective for my recovery. He also noticed that some of my arm hand muscles were contracted due to keyboard and pc-mouse use habits and helped me to solve this issue as well. I will recommend Matthijs to treat sport and office related injuries.

An absolutely Amazing man is here to serve your physio therapy needs. Matthijs listens to your needs, he understands, and delivers the utmost respectful care. He saved my life when i thought there was no hope left. fixing a completely dead arm and a few months later a debilitating back pain. He hunts down the causes and delivers treatment, then gives you helpful suggestions to continue on living your now improved life.

Excellent service! I went there since a friend recommended the place to me because I was suffering from back pain. I was doubting if my problem would be solved, but after arriving and explaining my pain to Matthijs he made some tests and rapidly pinpointed the problem. After some therapeutic massages I felt the relief, and after a couple of days the pain was completely gone. I highly recommend a visit if you are suffering from back pain.

Na een valblessure van een paar jaar geleden en vele electro en shockwavetherapie in mijn linkerbovenarm te hebben geprobeerd, kwam ik bij Improve voor een Dry Needle behandeling.
Na slechts 2 behandelingen met kleine naaldjes in mijn bovenarm en een stevige massage op de zere plek, was de pijn zo goed als weg.
Na nog 1 intense massagebehandeling 2 weken later is de pijn volledig verdwenen.
Bij het laatste bezoek ook maar gelijk nog even een chiropractic behandeling ondergaan voor een complete reset van mijn lichaam.
Improve is echt een aanrader voor pijnlijke spieren, gewrichten en andere lichamelijke ongemakken.

Een aanrader! Matthijs heeft mij uitstekend begeleid met een terugkerende knie blessure. Door te veel voetballen en volleyballen kreeg ik klachten waardoor ik niet goed kan autorijden en zitten. Matthijs heeft mij in zeer korte tijd van de klachten af geholpen. Ik volg enkele specifieke oefeningen en dit heeft geleid dat ik eigenlijk alles weer kan doen!
