While we had to wait a while for our food due to a fire the staff was incredibly friendly, explained in detail what was going on and left a really good impression on me.

The food was great. The pancakes are thick but fully cooked. The toppings are plenty but not overpowering, or they can be removed, and the dishes don't feel rushed at all considering the pressure the kitchen must have been feeling.

Amazing Place & Family Friendly!

This gem is located about 10-15 mins from the A12 and is well worth the detour! Just take a short but beautiful drive through a little town and into the woods and you are at this fantastic retreat. It opens at 11am and serves amazing food (especially their Dutch Pancakes!) They have a great park for kids, a petting zoo and ponies! What’s not to love about that!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has children seats, a menu for kids, and a kinder toilet! The interior is like walking into a well preserved and tastefully decorated museum. The curios around the mansion keep your eyes entertained at every glance. This place has serval separate spaces that could easily be used for private parties of various sizes. It reminds me of an American country club.

The grounds are beautifully kept and make you feel as if you are in a five star resort! Gardens full of flowers, lots of tall trees provide shade and create a romantic setting. Venturing over to the park we found a play ground perfect for kids of all ages. A Teeter-taughter, rocking horses, a play house with slide, swings and a zip line swing! Additionally, there were several trails leading out into the forest for anyone who wants to take a short hike while visiting.

By far this was the most beautiful and peaceful place we have visited in the Netherlands. Not crowded, lovely views, kid friendly, and delicious foods!

Cozy and affordable pannekoek restaurant in the middle of the forest. The terrace has great views and there is a big playground for kids. Inside is very cozy and feels like visiting your grandma. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The food was ready quite fast and it was quite delicious. Totally recommended!

Pancakes with a vast array of toppings or fillings, very yummy! Plus a playground and plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Very nice place with beautiful surroundings with gardens, horses, playground, etc. The food was delicious and the service was really friendly and fast.

Great pancakes with English menus and very helpful staff. On top of this, there is a great little feeding area for animals outside, perfect for any age. The behaviour of the animals is interesting too; be careful when feeding the black sheep, the white goats will bully it.

It's a rustical, atmospheric restaurant in the woods. The staff is veeery friendly and fast.
We came for the pancakes and were not disappointed. We had three regular ones, and they managed to make an amazing vegan one for me.

Such a nice place! I've got lots of good memories there with friends, and now with my partner and dog. The place is in the middle of a very forested area, has a lovely and huge garden where kids (and sometimes adults) can play, and the pannekoeken are really tasty. A "must-go" if you live close by!

So pancakes are good and loved the fresh orange juice. Now let me talk about the ambience, its a open air restaurant in the middle of the woods with a big a play area for kids. Kids will be certainly happy.

Beautiful place and its surroundings. The pancakes are excellent and whether you decide to sit inside or outside with pretty nature views, it's a reallly nice and special experience. 🙂 The place is also great for children and it has a playground and horses on site.

Friendly service, good traditional Dutch pancakes and other simple dishes. Beautiful forest setting just outside village of Bennekom. Service from 11am, so a nice stop during a walk or cycle tour. Animals and a play park to keep the kids entertained.

It's one of the loveliest places I've ever been to. They have a lot of different kinds of pancakes, I highly recommend the one with pilled pork. The place is surrounded by nature and it's very nice to walk around before or after eating there.

Had a fantastic family reunion 2 to 6 pm, drinks, cakes, snacks and pancakes. Rapid service and very friendly staff and very good cookery

Very tasty & huge pannenkoeken, amazing poffertjes! The place itself is beautiful and the stuff very polite and helpful. We visited the place during the Coronavirus pandemic and we were pleasantly amazed by how respectfully and carefully everything was planned!

Gorgeous view. Goats are there. Fun playground. The pancakes were delicious. Gluten and dairy free options available.
