I’ve been to the Efteling on and off again in the past 5 years. With our most recent visit, it’s time to put it all down in a few words!

The Efteling is truly a magical place where you can spend hours without even noticing. It’s fun for the entire family: kids, teens and adults. The attractions are thrilling (like the Baron) and expertly themed (like droomvlucht). If you are thinking of visiting (which I highly recommend) make sure to check a few things:

- if you visit with younger children, take your time. Two days instead of a single day will allow you to go through the park at your own pace. Make sure to book a lodging at one of their resorts!
- try to visit on less busy days! Their website has great information on when the less busy days will be
- don’t forget to look at their website to find which rides are open and which aren’t! Don’t be surprised when you arrive, as some attractions undergo maintenance during the less busy months (mostly in the winter and spring)

Have fun!

What an amazing experience!! Best 8 hours I’ve spent at sub-zero temperatures in my life. Could easily have stayed longer. The rides were great and all the themed displays inspiring. I can well imagine that it can get quite full when it’s warmer, but we did not have any queues on the day.

It was such a lovely experience & even if you booked tickets for a full day, you’re unable to see all their attractions!

Two downsides would be the very long cues & nearly hour of waiting for the rides plus when buying hotdogs or food they don’t use gloves & hair caps which is unhygienic.

Fantastic theme park, fairy take theme with a nice mix of rides from extreme to super-mild, and animations. Price fair, lower than most, incl done places with far less. Queues low to reasonable (no fast track option but many rides have sole-rider queues), only one ride bad all day. Only food could be better, though less rubbish than most theme parks (and it’s almost all tasty). Could use more coffee availability. Especially recommend the fairy dreamhouse, what they call the “madhouse”, the light show and the beautifully restored ancient carousel. Staff friendly and helpful.

The place is well organized with multiple areas listed in a map. I highly recommend downloading the EFTELING APP which contains; live map, waiting time for each ride, restaurants, shops and everything you need to now about the park. Also you can download the photos from each ride. Kids will have more fun there because they have plenty of rides suitable for them. I loved every details there. Don’t miss out the Magical garden inside the park!

Super. Great park, with lots see and do. Would 100% recommend! Went with family of 4 people, 2 adults, 8yr old and 12 year old and all had a great time.

Ice skating was a lovely extra and very reasonably priced (2.5euro per person) Because we visited midweek in December (tuesday) there was pretty much no queues to get on any ride. Loved the atmosphere and it wasn't too far to walk anywhere to any of the rides or attractions. Attention to detail is great and the theme is carried throughout the park, really did feel like you were in a magical elf land.

Whilst the park was extremely busy on second day of Christmas the day was amasing and magical indeed. The winter theme is really well executed (and big as well). The evening lights are sublime. Rides added since I last visited some 12 years ago all seem to be great choices, also offering more thrilling rides. The Flying Dutchman ride embodies the theme park feel with a unique experience. The closing show at the big lake near the entrance is a must see!

An amusement park mainly for children, and a few roller coasters for adults, especially the scary Baron.
A wonderful talking tree that fascinates.
A city that is in panorama and with small details of life and trains.
And you should definitely stay in the evening for the musical fountain performance! It's magically aesthetic.

I just love Efteling! It is way better than any Disneyland! So authentic and so so like a fairytale! I go with my (now adult) children or even just with my partner 3-4 times a year! This year we celebrated New Year’s Eve at the Efteling,- second time in my life. And (though this time much more people than the first time) it was just awesome! Great music, great light show! Loved the snowy Christmas trees , silent disco etc etc etc! Highly recommend!

Ahh the good ol Efteling, I came here back in my early years and I loved it as a child, I had the best of times.

I had to revisit back in summer of 2023, and boy I was taken back. Fata Morgana was my favourite ride and it is still there, it did change and modernized a little but still it kept the original features.

Rides are cool, lines were a little long but worth it, it was not as busy for a Thursday.

Each section tells a story like little red riding hood, three little goats and other children story.

A great place for family day out, there is a hotel in the property should you decide to stay for couple days.

I loved how it took me back to 28 years and it was so good to feel like a child again.

Wow what an amazing park. Great for all ages. Even with Snow and Ice rides still ran, staff still very freindly and efficient. Just get your visit booked you will not regret it.

Very satisfying!

Not the DISNEY style,
but the mood lasts no less than its.

You can see lots of details in all aspects,
and you may not like them all but they all maters!

From their website, APP(IT’S BRILLIANT), the design of all the attractions, to the activities from on-line to on-site, they are just amazing.

The history and the importance in the Dutch people are no need to be mentioned any more.

Everyone should come and experience this amazing place! It’s the old story but in an easygoing-yet-not-boring-at-all style.

Beautiful and super fun park! 🤩
Many many many attractions, total fun for children and adults.

We arrived with my wife (without children so far 😅) at the park at 12:00 and left at 18:00 and still couldn’t manage to try all of the attractions we wanted!

The weather in October is very pleasant and it was pure fun!

The exciting trains, the effects and the experience of each attraction were perfect! 😍

We couldn’t ask for a better time to have!

A very hot recommendation for every tourist and person to visit there!

5 stars out of five!!!

Mind blowing experiences, the rides which are marked as "daredevil with guts" are a must if you visit.

The staff is super polite and very welcoming, they pay very much attention to each client.

The whole park is out of this world, the atmosphere is relaxing, the music is there to enhance the fairy tale mood.

Absolutely fantastic, one of the most immersive theme park that I've been. Definitely work the price £32 to be exact. However a few rides were shut which I feel like should be deducted from the price as I did have an effect on the experience. Food was decently priced as well, £2 for cotton candy, £3-4 for a hotdog. Not too bad at all. (Attached down below were some of my favourite rides, pls do go it you have a chance).

Amusing place to go with kids or with friends. Amazing attractions and nice music performance. Don't miss this place if you want to learn more about Dutch folktales. Super recommended!

Arrived on the mon-fri just before Christmas. We had no wait time to enter as we stayed at loonsche land so had early entry. Some of the ride queues were long but moved quickly. We managed to do all the rides in a day and spent the rest of the week redoing our favourites. Good choice of food in the park and reasonably priced, we had breakfast included in the hotel which was nice but could do with a bit of variety as it's the same food each morning. We used the pizza delivery to our cabin twice while there and the food was lovely. Caro at the theatre was amazing! Definitely worth a visit

What a top attraction. Haven't been there in years, but this is really fun for all ages. I could only remember the fakir, but numerous attractions have been added. From crazy roller coasters, fairytales, peaceful walks in the spacious park to a delicious cup of coffee. Everything is available for reasonable prices and with friendly staff everywhere. The entrance is not cheap, but there are promotions and you really get value for your money.

We love spending a day here. Some great roller coasters. Park is always clean, the gardens are always amazing.
Food choice is great and nicely priced.
Great theme which is carried through the whole park. Shame not much is in English, but is doesn't stop us coming back.
