Hotel NH Waalwijk

Without reading all the reviews, I thought this is a very good hotel.
From the arrival, lots of parking and very easy access from the highway.
The overall feel is an upmarket hotel, so the atmosphere is great
Service desk super friendly and helpful
The breakfast is great,lots of variety on the buffet, great space so you can feel relaxed. The room is rather big, very spacious for Netherlands imho.
Bathroom has a bath that I can fit, that's 10 stars, loving having a bath and shower option.
Decor is elegant enough, dated is a state of mind, you would have to pay a lot more for having super modern, I don't think it's necessary, it's tasteful and still very welcoming. Make sure to book for the Blake, in house restaurant, they get busy quick so you don't want to be disappointed.
I'm pretty positive you will enjoy your stay.
Highly recommended, preferred that you have a car as it's a little off the way from shops etc.
Would I be back.... Definitely, my visit was for 5 days.

Very clean and a hotel with top hospitality. Restaurant has a small menu but very, very good. Children's menu available. Minus : very weak hairdryer if you have some hairstyling to do. Nice continental breakfast.

Good hotel, very close to Efteling (only 5 min with a car). Good and professional service. Check In went smooth, with all information needed. Communication before arrival was, good and all requests was nice arranged. Room was clean, could be little better maintained. Wallpaper and water pressure needed some more attention. Rest was perfect. Breakfast fresh and food was good quality. Service with smile and attention to the guest.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night (got married at Chalet Fontaine) and they gave our already amazing room beautiful decorations. Also rooms are quiet and big. Very very comfortable!

Everything was very well. The service is perfect. Very kind. Good breakfast. Very nice waiter called Max helped us with hot chocolate milk for our daughter. We recommend to choose NH Waalwijk.

I have never stayed in the hotel, but have used the meeting room frequently. A great place to have meetings with groups. All is setup as agreed. Nice lunch and good coffee and tea service.
I also use it to have on the road meetings with co-workers as it is a nice central location next to the motorway.

Extremely good breakfast, dinner and lunch service. The rooms come tidy with a bathroom and a tv. It is extremely well designed and it is worth staying for an entire week, that is highly unlikely for any other hotel. It is easy to find and conveniently close to Fantasy Park Efteling. They have excruciatingly kind staff and a satisfying amount of rooms. It is also nicely cheap for a hotel THIS good. It is a must go.

Awesome hotel. Had an awesome stay. Clean room, friendly personnel.

The room itself was spotless, everything you need was at hand. We booked a suite which could easily fit four persons, had airconditioning ehich was very welcome due to the hot weather during the summer. The suite has a bath as well as a shower.
Beds were made properly and we had enough fresh towels as well as slippers and bathrobes.

We asked a high chair for our 1.5 year old son as well as a babybed, which came at no extra cost.

The dinner at the hotel was great as well, had the culinairy burger and the spaghetti which were both great.

The hotel is located right next to the freeway which is very convenient and luckily not noisy. The Efteling is at a ten minute drive which makes it a great combination for a weekend.

You can checkout until 12 o'clock, on sundays you can have a "lazy sunday" and even stay till three o'clock.

I only visited the restaurant. The choice of food was small but adequate. I had the typical Dutch- Indonesian chicken saté, which tasted good.

A plus for the hotel was that it had an 22kW charger for EV's on the parking lot (2 stalls, 4 outlets). Only you need a special Dutch card to activate it. Of course at the reception they had one, but only for hotel guests. It not free of charge, but at least you can charge overnight.
Furthermore, there is not much to do if you don't have a car. But the "Efteling" (the biggest and most famous Dutch funpark) is nearby. A must do if you're there with kids.

Great service and very nice place. Very convenient if planning to visit Efteling. You can opt to get the Efteling entry (depending on stay type) but keep a note you need to buy the car parking ticket for the Efteling park.

Clean room and friendly staff. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, which was a nice suprise. Not the best breakfast but that could also be because we went for it the last half-hour.

Very clean, very friendly. It was a daytime hotel room as needed 11 hours off before driving back to the UK. I didnt sample the food but the menu both in room and restaurant were impressive.
