Amsterdam Lake Hotel

I am reading some negative reviews about the deposit for this hotel. I personally travel to Amsterdam almost every other week for work and I have to say it’s quite normal for the hotels here to take deposits. If you are from Ireland like me it may be strange, since our hotels don’t require this. But it’s really nothing special.

Overall my experience was very good, the hotel is quite new and it has an amazing view over the lake. The free parking is really a big plus, parking in Amsterdam is really expensive (around 40 euro’s per day). Shower is good and free amenities are provided. I have stayed here 4 times now and I would recommend it to everyone.

Compared to the other hotels I visited during my two week stay, this one was the best! Staff was amazing and the service too. Everything you need for a good Amsterdam experience. I woke up to the most beautiful view. Highly recommend!

This is a really good hotel! I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Our tv worked perfectly, the room was nice and clean, the hotel is easily accessible from the city and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are also recently renovated, so it’s like a new hotel.

I will definitely come back to this hotel, its really good value for money.

Some of these reviews really break my heart :( We had only good experiences during our stay. Especially the warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff made our stay unforgettable. Don't believe everything you see on the internet, because some people are out for nothing good..

We had such a lovely stay. The staff is very welcoming and helpful :) The room was modern and clean. The highlight is definitely the location: the hotel is located near the city center and the airport. We will definitely come back again!

Great place! We rented bikes at the hotel and went to Amsterdam Forest (less than 10 minutes) and the city center (20 minutes). Staff is very cheerful and helped us book a taxi from and to the airport

Nice clean comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms have a nice view on the lake/river in front.

We visit Amsterdam for two nights and I never expierenced such nice hotel service. Everyone was so friendly, I really enjoyed the stay! Thank you for brighten up my days! Also the room was clean and modern and we had a nice lake view.

What a great place to stay for a layover!! Only 9 minutes by taxi and right next to Amsterdam Bos for biking or walking, The rooms were super clean, beds were very comfortable and it's quite as it's right beside a canal and quiet road. The staff were super friendly, helped us rent bikes and were gracious with our late arrival. They also contacted us before our stay and booked a taxi for us well in advance to return to the airport. Highly recommended!!

Is an amazing, cozy hotel facing to Nieuwe Meer lake. From there is easy to go to Amsterdam, and to go to Schiphol either. Parking is even for free. Recommended.

We had to stay one night and for me is the best place to go your are at 20 minutes by car of the center of Amsterdam And the staff est magnifique

Ik snap de negatieve reviews niet. Mijn verblijf bij Amsterdam Lake Hotel was fantastisch. De kamers zijn recentelijk gerenoveerd! Nieuwe badkamers, nieuwe bedden en een goeie tv (die gewoon functioneerde). Mijn kamer was brandschoon en ik ben normaal erg kritisch op hygiene.

Check-in ging erg vlot en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Het hotel is goed te bereiken vanaf Schiphol en je kan gemakkelijk naar het centrum reizen.

Wij hebben fietsen gehuurd bij het hotel en we waren met 15 minuten in de stad.

Ik zou dit hotel zeker aanraden.
