Cafe The Drowned Land

This place is just one of kind and really worth a visit! The interior speaks for itself and creates a really cosy atmosphere. The 2 french bullies that are sleeping in front of the stove is just delightful.
But there is more. We had a wonderful, heart warming lunch during a grey, rainy day. Can recommend de bread soaked in Orval with melted cheese and the home brewed beer. Will visit again!

I paid with creditcard (reading comments below I have to assume that cash only is a thing of the past in this place). Prices are really low (but some people prefer high prices by creditcard then lower prices by cash?). Atmosphere is incredibly good and choose of decorations is really interesting artistic. Friendly service too and 2 friendly dogs of owners available on the terrace 😊

Very pleasant atmosphere. Interior is very interesting. Food is very traditional and all homemade. The owner and the staff are friendly. Service is fast. You can find here different kinds of Belgian beer. CASH only! We wil definitely go back.

If you are visiting the national heritage called The drowned land you are obliged to stop here and enjoy the old way people in Zeeuws Vlaanderen used to pass there time during their free time. You will find extraordinary reliques and brocante, but above all those goodies they are serving all sorts of marvelous beer and you can also enjoy a nice meal when you are prepared to make a reservation. I visit this pub each time when I am around!

Perfect place for a heartwarming traditional lunch, pancake or waffle. Cash only though! From the decor, to the lovely owners, this place is very welcoming. Definitely worth going if you're in the neighborhood 😊

We visited in Summer 2005. The service was excellent and friendly. The mosselen en frietjes were wonderful. We ate outside on the terrace. I'd definitely go back.

Heel verrassend bijna brocante ingericht, heel veel sfeer is nog een understatement
Zelfgebrouwen bier en goed eten maken het compleet zeker een bezoekje waard als je in de buurt bent

Endroit original perdu au milieu de nul part qui mérite que chacun s'y arrête pour prendre un verre.

Heel leuke kroeg/ eettentje aan de voet van de dijk. Meerdere terassen. Bijzonder (druk) ingericht, zie foto's.

Super tof en leuk volks eetcafé nabij het Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe. Het eetcafé is een hele bezienswaardigheid op zich. Neem vooral de tijd en moeite om hier even halt te houden als je in de buurt bent. Ze hebben hier ook bakharing op bepaalde dagen in de week. Hebben hier lekker gegeten.

Een gezellig ingerichte bistro met een ruim terras is dezelfde sfeer. Lekker eten en een huiselijke sfeer.
