Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen

We stayed for 5 nights with breakfast. We had a couple of issues but they were delt with very quickly. Breakfast has a great selection I'm a very fussy eater but found plenty of choice. Highly recommend one of the suite rooms we stayed in ibiza it was amazing. So relaxing chilled great facilities.perfect little get away.Hotel has very high standards the decor is so nice.This was our second stay at this hotel and hopefully won't be our last.You will not be disappointed .Train station 5 minutes away which is very useful if you don't have a car.

Hi, today I visited the restaurant at this location, and had a very pleasant stay there for dinner with my daughter.

It was quite crowded, but the service was fast and friendly.

We had a good meal, the food was nice and up to a good standard.

So we were pleased to have a great meal after a very busy day and a slow traffic on the road.

Van der Valk is very much recommended by me, from my own experience over the years.

This is a really nice location, easy access from the highway and by train. The location is really nice and when u walk in you feel the luxury. I had a lunch there and the lunch was exceptional, the variety is insane and the service is top quality. We had a business meeting in one of the business rooms and it was really nice and quite.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good for going with public transportation. Or with the car, you get free parking tickets. In the close you vicinity you only got a trainstatian and a McDonald's.

The room is good and the bathtub in the room is bubbly. The swimming pool and sauna is fun too.

My boyfriend and I dine here very often and always have a pleasant experience.

The chateaubriand is very tasty (not always that consistent with how it’s cooked though).

We always get the carpaccio with truffle mayonaise, which never disappoints either.

You get delicious bread with butter on the side and fries.

Service and interior are amazing!

Very convenient location when visiting Utrecht but also next to a railway station for easy access to central Amsterdam.
Plenty of parking and close to the motorway.
The hotel is comfortable and has all the facilities you could want including wellness centre.

Live cooking is really nice, lots of choice and all fresh. Lovely staff, but people behind food were not aware of what is being offerd, we heard "I don't know" or "Read the board" all the time :)

Very nice hotel with several different rooms. The highway nearby is not to hear.
The breakfast is very complete (warm and cold parts). Diner is real good, but there are a lot of people visiting the restaurants.
The service in the restaurant is very quick and friendly.

One of the nicest hotels, just outside Amsterdam, very easy to get to Amsterdam by car or train. Lovely restaurant, perfectly cooked beef. Will definitely come back!

Hotel very well situated close to the train station. To Amsterdam about 30 minutes by train.
The only thing I was afraid of was the location close to a busy highway (5 lanes each way). But the soundproofing of the rooms was exemplary and the only thing that could be heard at night was a gentle hum of air conditioning. I recommend renting a room in the newly built part behind the swimming pool. Silence, peace and luxury. The breakfast buffet at a very high level should also be mentioned. Overall, a very good hotel worth recommending.

With a traditional windmill standing near the entrance, this beautiful hotel with a unique exterior has an elegant, spacious lobby. Charming and classy interior decor, the staff at reception were professional. Check in was efficient. Clean, spacious room with lovely artwork on the wall. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom with toilet had a rainshower in the shower cabin. Nice toiletries. Breakfast was delicious - a wide variety of food and drinks. Wide variety of breads, cold cuts, cereals, egg dishes (omelette), pancakes and beverages. Spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Swimming pool with with beauty rooms and fitness center.

One of our favourite Van der Valk restaurants we’ve been to. The food and service are definitely up to par of what you expect of Van der Valk. They have a good menu, fast and friendly service and we love their desserts.

Love that you get to walk through a buffet that is twice as large as the restaurant it self.

Good quality hotel, big space parking,Mcdonals nearby, next to the station, big room, cool design, very nice bed 😍 we come from the East and tomorrow we go to the airport in the morning and i think this place is good place to be before flight, little far but by car only 20minutes :) and train is next door

Beautiful hotel on the outside, and even better looking on the inside. The standard rooms have a modern look to it that's well kept. Great complimentary breakfast lasts from 0700 to 1030. With free parking and within 5 minutes walk to the train station.

I've given it a 5 star. The lunch buffet is amazing. There is so much to choose from. Various cereals and nuts with various varieties of yogurts, quark. English and continental breakfasts, plenty of cooked meats and cheeses but also jams, choxolate spread and breakfast bars. Salmon, prawns, chicken, steak, saté just everything is available. There is a corner where you can make your own cookies. There is a Febo (Dutch snackbar) corner with all the populair dutch snacks but also chips and potato wedges. Dessert table is just amazing so make sure you leave some space with all the cakes and ice-cream. Also complimentary with the meal are tea, coffee and juices. Definately worth every penny. I never ate another thing after being there for three hours.

Very large hotel. Great for meeting in a business environment. Very nice staff. Food is good (not amazing but good enough for a full 5 star overall rating).

Food was incredible- did the dinner, night and breakfast thing. Dinner was a three course meal and we had the carpaccio and the Mexican salad. I recommend the carpaccio, it was superior. For seconds the meat and the salmon, both were good but I loved the salmon (which says a lot because I’m more of a meat girl) and for dessert the créeme brûlée, which I barely touched because I was so full. The rooms are like any van der valk rooms but they had massive balconies and a nice bath. Breakfast was prime, buffet style with anything you want, and fresh omelettes. I’m happy to stay here again!

Rooms are great, spacious, updated, clean. Located right by the train stop so easy access to anywhere, very close to Amsterdam maybe a 20 minute train ride. Breakfast delicious.
