Very nice and calm place. Great for the kids. Even dogs are very welcome. Food was good and a very extensive menu. Friendly staff and good prices. Great overall experience

Absolutely divine! The pancakes were delicious and they have a huge variety... as well as allowing you to make up a pancake with half sweet half savoury! Well worth a visit!

The best pancakes we've had. Some places are too oily / fatty but the pancakes here were perfect light but filling. Family friendly with an play area for children. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great place to bring the kids for a treat, but why not take a walk around the lake first and work up a good appetite? It's only 4.5km and worth it for the fresh air and views... Enjoy

Delicious and big pancakes. Very friendly personnel. Not the quiet place since there are many kids in this family restaurant. I would still recommend it though.

Located in the Maarsseveense Plassen recreational area, this family-friendly pancake house has a spacious, charming interior. Clean and brightly lit. Friendly, helpful staff. The beautiful view of the lake and surrounding area from the windows is a nice plus. Their menu has a wide selection of sweet and savoury pancakes and more. In addition, this pancake place has interesting 'chef's recommendations'. The Tyrolean apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce, "De Bethune" pancake and La Chouffe Blond draught beer are some of the specialties served here. I really enjoyed the 'Pannenkoeken Proeverij' - their pancake tasting platters/sampler. A delicious pancake tasting adventure.

If I could pick only one pancake restaurant in NL, this would be the one! Lots of varieties of pancakes, also for vegetarians. Beautiful location and friendly staff make it one of our favorite restaurants to visit

Maarssen is a town in the middle of the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht, along the river Vecht and the Amsterdam–Rhine Canal.
