As I am closer to sixty than fifty years old and hold five different ATPLs I have been through numerous aviation medical assessments over the years under all the different civil aviation authority rules. Of all those assessments my recent EASA Class 1 medical at MediM was one of the best experiences ever! Not only was Dr Maio very friendly he also explained every step of the process and gave a lot of background information to every test completed. His solid background in cardiology clearly showed too.
As his clinic is small and located in a leafy neighbourhood, it is super easy to park and there is no waiting time. I was all done in a little over an hour. Exceptional service.

I met Dr. Di Maio by chance during my work and happened to need a checkup to become cabin crew. Getting home I was pleased to find an appointment slot open first thing the next morning, so I promptly booked it! Dr. Di Maio was surprised to see me again so soon, but I'm glad I went. He's very friendly and happy to take the time to explain what he's doing and why, as well as answer questions. He also tries to make the process as easy as possible for his clients, so for outstanding service a 5/5 from me!

The checks are done in quick succession, so you don’t spend too much time waiting. He is also emphatic and enjoys a chat. This makes the experience efficient and engaging. Dokter Di Maio heeft een goed oog voor wat relevant is om toe te voegen aan het medisch dossier in het kader van vliegveiligheid. Naast zijn professionaliteit is het een zeer aimabel persoon waarbij je je snel op je gemak voelt.

Omdat het een initiele keuring betrof was ik eigenlijk wel nerveus, maar hij straalde kalmte uit en deed al pratende zijn werk. Hierdoor werd ik helemaal rustig en vergat ik bijna dat de keuring plaatsvond.

Kende Dr. Maio al van zijn werkzaamheden bij AMC. Was nu voor het eerst in zijn eigen praktijk. Voor het werken als Technical Crewman op de helikopters kwam ik voor een classe 2 keuring. Ben zeer vriendelijk geholpen en Dr. Maio staat voor een goede en professionele servicegerichtheid die ik iedereen kan aanraden.

Gisteren heb ik voor de eerste keer bij MediM in Houten mijn vliegmedische herhalingskeuring gedaan. Ik word al sinds 1965 vliegmedisch gekeurd, al bijna 60 jaar dus. Dr Di Maio komt op mij over als een kundige, correcte en professionele keuringsarts. Op vriendelijke wijze staat hij open voor alle vragen op zijn vakgebied.
Hij is beslist een aanrader voor vliegmedische keuringen.

Sinds heel lang mijn favoriete vliegmedische keuringsarts. Vriendelijk, neemt de tijd, adviseert goed en regelt eventuele problemen snel. Heel tevreden mee.

Afgelopen dinsdag voor het eerst medisch gekeurd voor mijn PPL. Dr. Di Maio is naar mijn mening een hele aardige en kundige arts. Hij nam de tijd om al mijn vragen te beantwoorden en geeft bij elk onderdeel een uitgebreide uitleg over wat hij gaat doen. Ik raad hem zeker aan voor andere mensen!
