Herbouwd kruithuis. In het kruithuis kan je en film bekijken over Bourtange hoe het is gevormd en gemaakt tot wat het nu is.
Aan de voorkant, bij de entre, staat nog wat extra informatie voor bezoekers. Voor het kruithuis staat een wensput, helaas zonder echo

Das Pulverhaus der Festung. Aus Sicherheitsgründen stand das Pulvermagazin abseits der Wohnhäuser. Das macht ja auch wirklich Sinn. Das Dach liegt nur auf dem Haus auf, im Falle einer Explosion wäre es einfach in die Luft geflogen, wie ein Sektkorken. So wäre weniger beschädigt worden.

Probably a fascinating exhibition about historic map making but only in Dutch. Google Translate couldnt cope, so a waste of time for us.
