Commissary

Commissary is not as big as we’re used too but that’s totally fine. We live 2 hours away so seeing comments complaining about the opening hours is absurd because if you live only a couple minutes rather than hours away it shouldn’t be a big deal honestly. It’s well stocked and when it isn’t it’s kind of empty sometimes in the snack section. The freezer section is stocked nicely! Lots of options which I’m grateful for. My son is really picky and only eats the Tyson nuggets from there and it’s become a hassle driving hours to grab them when they have them. Other than that the staff is really nice and it’s always well decorated and welcoming.

This is a nice, large commissary that is usually well stocked. You can find pretty much anything here that you usually want from the States. They have a good selection of Asian items that I use to cook. There are plenty of self-checkouts which I really appreciate even though the machines are funky sometimes with the “please remove item from bagging area…please put item in bagging area.” They also have plastic bags (no fee) so you don’t need to bring your own. It’s usually not busy here but don’t come on payday or the Friday of or after payday. It’s a madhouse then.

We love this place, made friends with almost all of the workers here. Most of them are the wagon helpers. The manager here is always so awesome. The cashiers are always so nice and ready for our two wagons worth of food. Lol. We love the prices and the staff always keep the store near, tidy and we'll stocked! I don't have anything negative to say they have me beat! Love it! Even the sandwiches at the Deli always made with perfection! Thank you you all staffs at the Commissary!

So it's not Walmart or Kroger or Target or even Sam's 🤔.
The effort to have and meet your basic needs is really, really important.
The prices are comparable to the economy the effort that goes into bringing a little bit of home just warms my heart.

This is the smallest but the best commissary I've been to. They are like a family in here and they always find time to talk and entertain my annoying child. Lol. Since it's very small, we are all familiar with one another and its always good to see a smile on their faces

Have tons of options and very helpful in ordering in stuff you want personally that they don't carry. Except wet cat food but that's Decca not the commissary responsible for that.

Loads of products that you usualy only would find back in the states.

This commissary is stocked with a lot of the familiar items that we miss. The employees are always friendly.

In my opinion, this is the best place to shop in the Brunssum area.

Friendly staff and very clean. The deli sandwiches are the bomb.
