Het Amsterdamse Bos

Beautiful get away from the city. Great place for BBQ. Long walks with dogs, swimming, kayaking, horse riding and more.

Amazing place just south of Amsterdam to enjoy a bit of nature. There are plenty of opportunities to do different types of sport activities other than just walk around. It is quite a big forest, so bikes can be rented at the beginning of the forest for reasonable prices. Dogs are of course allowed throughout most of the forest with few exceptions and must be kept on lead at certain areas.

Great parking outside Amsterdam in the shade. Pleasant cycling route into the city centre. Beautiful walking and cycling paths in the woods. Lakes and waterways to paddle round, with close up views of birds. Large grassy areas for picnics.

It is a fairly large park. I recommend going by bike to go all over it.
There are areas where you can picnic and in this park/forest is bloemenpark.

Lovely green space. Good for all sorts of sport activities

Always a great place to go to be in nature just outside the city. The goat farm is always a hit and love the coffee and cakes and all the animals. Highly recommend if you need to take the kids or just ourself out!

Amsterdamse Bos is an amazing park and has something for everyone. It is pretty big and contains some animal parks, lakes, picnic areas, sporting clubs, rowing courses, gardens and monuments. I recommend visiting it by renting an OV bike from AMS Zuid and enjoying the nature.

A Must do is the canoe or water pedal boat at the lake!!

Soooo big that you can do whatever you want, feel like riding a boat, you can. Feel like biking, walking, jogging, picnic? All doable. You have the pools when summer comes, lakes, pancake house, goat farm, etc. it is a beautiful place

Such a good afternoon out.
The goats are all friendly and it is so much fun for all ages (me and my best friend aged between 28-25 had a great time).
The cafe is expensive however that is how they make their money so get a drink at least, they serve coffee, cold drinks and even wine and beer.
The food is nice too.

Amazingly green , a park , lakes , flaura and fauna , it feels like you are in natures heaven !

Japanese cherry blossoms in full bloom now. Amsterdamse Bos is always a great place to go for a walk, picnic, or bike ride.

Wonderful place. We had a lot of fun.
It was hard to find restrooms though.

Rooms/cabins are nice. We have a family of 5. Our place has 3 rooms and 6 beds in total. There's a bathroom as well. It's clean and has pots and pans and utensils for you to use. Staff is friendly. The surrounding area is beautiful. Highly recommend

Yesterday's forest adventure was straight out of a fantasy novel! 🌲🚣‍♂ The serene lake for swimming and the enchanting rivers perfect for canoeing made it feel like a journey into a 'Lord of the Rings' wonderland. Nature's magic at its finest!

Such a stunning and huge place for nature lovers. It's easily accessible from Amsterdam and it's gorgeous all year round.

I walk there for almost two hours , I like the environment and the weather was nice that day. There is so many walking trails and you can ride horse also . also there is place for Camping. Definitely I will go there again if I visit Amsterdam.
