I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant after experiences with other restaurants in the Amstelveen area. Great spot by the river to relax and watch the world go by. Service was good and the food was great. I was part of a large group, and everyone enjoyed their food. The owner and staff put in a lot of effort to ensure we had a great experience.

We were on the road with the bike and actually just wanted to drink something, but have spontaneously decided to order something to eat.
Have eaten super tasty, drank good wines and enjoyed the great location on the canal. It was a perfect end to our week of vacation. We will never forget this!!!

Stopped here on a bike ride. Very good food, ate outside on the water. Had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

This place is amazing. It's situated on either side of the road.
Restaurant on one side is located on the lake and thus offers a great view.
Whole experience was great including the food, beer and the service.
Staff was very polite and friendly and gave us great recommendation for food.
The best thing is that this restaurant is located on a beautiful route where you can go cycling. On one side is an unending canal and the other side will show you some beautiful houses.

Service and drink were excellent, the menu looked phenomenal and we wish we could've tried everything! Right on the canal, the terrace is enclosed in windows offering amazing views of wildlife, cyclists, and rowers coming up and down the current. Would definitely recommend for friends, family, dates, and groups!

A cosy and quiet place to enjoy the canal view + great menu of meat & seafood. Cheateau Briand + Wagyu Burgers was awesome 😎

The staff was very friendly, the view was great, good atmosphere in general. Not very expensive either, especially for Amsterdam. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a cozy feel to it. The wine was great and so was the food, I ordered lamb with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables and I enjoyed all of it (especially the vegetables!). Good portion sizes too, I was full once I finished my meal. I really recommend this restaurant! I have no complaints and would go again.

It's a amazing place, especially in nice weather. They renovated the entire restaurant, with a brand new, amazing terrace on a pontoon on the river Amstel. The food is excellent. Try the Tuna Tataki as a starter! The staff is also very nice. Good wine selection as well. A must-go!

We dropped by on the terase for a drink only on our walking routine along the Amstel river. It was so nice that we stayed longer and had also a dinner. Not so many options on the menu but our dish was delicious prepared. Personal very kind offering water for the dog and always caring for our table. Recommend any time !

Just wanted to day how lovely my birthday dinner was! This restaurant is under rated! The service was fabulous by Lars and Lara (Lars, wishing you a happy birthday today)!! Food was delicious! Nice evening had!!

Delicious food..lovely warm day to enjoy eating on the river. Near a picturesque windmill and the beautiful Amstelpark. Perfect place to spend many hours walking and enjoying nature as well as iconic Dutch sites.... and away from the mobs.

Nice restaurant on the Amsteldijk near Amsterdam located in a rustic building. The place breathes a typical Holland style atmosphere. They have a great variety on drinks and food options for lunch. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. One of the better places to sit outdoors overlooking the Amstel after a cycling trip. Next time I visit Amseldijk, I will go here again.

One of my favorite places. They don't server pancakes or poffertjes! And the service is a bit slow, so make sure your wine glass is full.. :)

The location is stunning and the food delicious. You will spend at least 50 euros per person for a dinner with a starter, main and drink, but it is worth it.
