B&B Bed in Broek

We've only been home for 24 hours and I am ready to return. Marianna and Klaas are superb hosts.
Breakfast delivered to our door every morning. Generous, spent plenty of time answering our questions and making suggestions for things to do in the area.
We liked the quiet, small town-ness of Broek in Waterland. Everyone we met was considerate and polite.

Broek in Waterland
My husband and I had a wonderful three night stay at this high end studio cottage with an exquisite private garden. Klaas and Marianna were the perfect hosts. They’ve created a beautiful and welcoming retreat for the weary traveler with tons of thoughtful details. The town of Broek in Waterland is stunningly beautiful and it was easy to reach Amsterdam from the village. The colorful garden added an extra room to the cottage and was perfect for relaxation, dining or just admiring the beautiful flowers. One of the highlights of our trip was touring the nearby countryside. Klaas made excellent recommendations about sightseeing and dining. The bed was perfection and I could write an entire page about the breakfasts, which were delicious, healthy and prepared with love. In the end we left this little slice of heaven with heavy hearts. Highly recommend!

This is a heavenly spot. A small, completely cosy, beautifully appointed cottage in a private garden.
When we arrived, we were very tired after a transatlantic flight. Our host met us at the bus stop and brought us to the cottage.
We were so happy to arrive at such a quiet and restful place. It’s hard to describe the thoughtful attention to detail that has been put into the cottage. There were beers in the fridge, good coffees and teas, an excellent bottle of wine, a gorgeous bathroom and the bed was heavenly.
How could this get any better? That question was answered the next morning with the arrival of a fabulous breakfast, freshly made by our host: Yogurt, homemade granola and jams, eggs, croissants, ham and cheese, breads, mustard! We stayed for three days and each day’s breakfast was incredible.
Finally, the cottage is located in a really beautiful, historic Dutch village that is of another world. At the same time, it is a mere 13 minutes by bus to the Central Station in Amsterdam.
We will be back. We loved our hosts and could not have had a better experience.

Our stay at Bed in Broek was simply delightful. The lovely cottage, set in the storybook village of Broek in Waterland just minutes from Amsterdam, instantly refreshes with its tranquillity. The cottage has everything you need - a comfortable bed, kitchenette, bathroom with amenities, robes, umbrellas and excellent WiFi. Klaas and Marianna are so kind, and seem to think of everything you’ll need.
Whether you have the delicious and ample breakfast in the private garden, your room, or on Klaas' boat while touring the surrounding picturesque countryside, you feel pampered and like you’re family. We were helped with reservations, recommendations, travel to the surrounding areas including Friesland, and a private tour of the Rijksmuseum (theartofguiding.nl). Yet, with all of their help and personal attention, they seem to intuitively know when you’re feeling social or would like privacy.
Their kindness and hospitality have truly exceeded all other vacation rentals in which we’ve stayed, and are the standard to which all should try to achieve. We can’t stop telling everyone about our wonderful experience here, and our excellent hosts. Absolutely the best!

A Perfect Choice!
Immaculate, upscale cottage with a stunning private garden. The love and care found in the details of this property are equal to the love and care shared by your hosts. If you seek solitude, you have it. If you are visiting the surrounding area, Klaas is your exceptional travel consultant, and 3 nights were not enough for us. Beginning with a delicious, varied breakfast served each morning, Klaas and Marianna are efficient, thoughtful hosts who go over and above expectations. You will leave with warm memories of your stay in the picturesque Broek in Waterland.

A really fantastic experience. A beautiful room in a separate building in an enchanting garden with its own private terrace. And only 12 minutes by super-connected public transport to the centre of Amsterdam! The warm welcome and excellent service make this place a must visit. A great base for Amsterdam but in the tranquility of the countryside. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

From the moment we arrived, Klaus and Marianna showered us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel like cherished guests at their cottage. Their personalized attention and thoughtful gestures added an extra layer of charm to our stay, elevating it beyond the typical bed and breakfast experience.

A highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the homemade Dutch breakfast with Klaus's homemade preserves.

The cottage, is adorned with modern touches and is immaculately clean. Thoughtful details, such as plush bedding, a nespresso, radio, tv, cotton robes, and a complimentary bottle of wine made our stay even more delightful.

In summary, our time at Bed and Broek was a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. Klaus and Marianna's warm welcome, combined with the serene ambiance of the cottage, made for an unforgettable retreat. Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or a base for exploring the Dutch countryside, Bed and Broek is a hidden gem worth discovering. Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Woche im schönen B &B bei Marianna und Klaas. Ein gemütliches Zimmer und der Garten, einfach herrlich. Reizende Gastgeber, super Frühstück und überhaupt das ganze Dorf Broek ist fantastisch. Und so nah an Amsterdam, das man bequem mit dem Bus oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichen kann. Nette Restaurants im Dorf und das Café in der Dorfkirche sind wirklich einmalig.

Tijdens onze B&B toer door Nederland was Bed in Broek een van onze halteplaatsen. Een verblijfstek die we achteraf met geen goud hadden willen missen. Hier was werkelijk alles tot in perfectie geregeld. Een eigen huisje, een heerlijk compleet ontbijt, een fijne badkamer en zelfs een privé zitje vóór ons huisje. En het allerfijnste was hier de hartelijkheid van Klaas en Marianna. Het was alsof wij elkaar al jaren kenden, zó vertrouwd. Niets teveel, zelfs medicijnen halen in Amsterdam was voor hen niet teveel. En dan die omgeving, alsof je jaren teruggaat in de tijd met al die prachtige houten huisjes, het klinkerpad en de grachtjes om je heen. Nogmaals Klaas en Marianna bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid en ergens in de toekomst gaan we zeker terugkomen.

Tolles Häuschen in einem süßen Garten! Der Vermieter hat einem alle Wünsche erfüllt und war sehr herzlich. Das Haus war sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Wir waren rund um zufrieden!

Bed in Broek klinkt spartaans...maar het tegenovergestelde is waar! een heerlijk rustige plek in het historische stuk van Broek in Waterland. Alles goed: super bed, stijlvol ingericht en af, top sanitair en zelfs een stukje eigen buitenruimte waar je de ochtendkoffie als midden in de natuur kunt genieten. Aan echt alles is gedacht: ov kaartjes, suggesties voor restaurants in de buurt, parkeren. Niks meer aan doen! Thanks Klaas!

Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen durch Klaas und Marianna in ihrem wunderschoenen B&B Bed in Broek. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit tollem Badezimmer. An alles ist gedacht. Das i tüpfelchen ist das leckere Frühstück. Schlafen im Paradies und das alles ganz nah an Amsterdam. Wir waren begeistert und kommen wieder.

Prachtige B&B in het historische gedeelte van Broek in Waterland. Het gastengedeelte ligt in een fraaie tuin met een eigen privé terras. De inrichting van de B&B, de gebruikte materialen, het keukentje, de Nespressomachine, de badkamer, alles is luxe, comfortabel en top! De eigenaren zijn buitengewoon aardig en attent. We kregen tips voor restaurants, uitjes en openbaar vervoer. Het ontbijt is iedere ochtend een feest! Dit is een plek om terug te komen. Aanrader!

Echt WAUW. Zoals het er op de foto's uitziet is ook echt de kamer. Daar hadden we het ook op uitgekozen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en ruim voldoende. Overal was aan gedacht. Je kan hier echt heerlijk verblijven.
